1. The fire nation had an airforce at the time they wiped out the Air Nation (kzitem.info/news/bejne/yoV_0q2uq56QY6w 5:15 - 5:25) 2. Kingdoms =/= bending ‘nations’ 3. Those fringe groups are still part of those bending ‘nations’ so the avatar could be born into them (sun warriors = fire nation, foggy swamp = water) 4. Toph got around it with the Bei Fong name, but they took the longer route to protect the couple who couldn’t take the ferry. 5. It’s extra funny because it’s not explained, especially when Bosco shows up 🤷🏻♀️ 6. It was made of flowers; it probably fell to bits as it broke down. 7. Ozai took over after his fathers death in a shady way, so he probably was slightly paranoid about his heirs; what glimpses we had into their childhood had them very sequestered with only a small pool of other noble children. 8. The avatar is the offical bridge between the spirit realm and the human realm, but it doesn’t mean he’s the only one who can communicate with it, or go there, and like you said it did touch on it, so this doesn’t seem to be much of a hole. 8. The avatar had to be the one to take down Ozai, otherwise it would be seen as a coup vs the symbol of harmony setting the world right. The show explains the white lotus’ purpose is seeking philosophy, beauty, and truth. They are devoted to sharing ancient knowledge across national and political divides. 9. Mako burned himself in LOK after generating lightning too long, so yes, they can burn themselves. 10. It could be not a comet; if it empowers fire benders, it could be a Solar Maxima (solar flare activity), or if it is, it catches fire in the upper atmosphere so it has fire. The scientific rules of the avatar universe don’t always reflect real world science. Classically in the canon, we see the bending-elements have more to do with the spirit world than with physical elements. Waterbenders are strengthened by the full moon, which is mostly rock and not ice or water. This is because it was the moon spirit that first taught waterbending, or at least the tribes learnt from the example of the moon. It appears to be bending water (we know this is not true, it's just gravity). So we can surmise that the moon spirit is what aids water benders under a full moon. This is proven when the current moon spirit dies and the water bender's powers wane (pun intended). tl;dr The spirits aid bending, not the physical object that they are associated with. Sozin's comet is going to appear mostly like a ball of fire in the sky, regardless of it's actual composition. Thus it's likely a similar fire spirit is responsible for the enhancement of the firebender's during the approach of Sozin's comet.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ozai tried to hide Zuko from the world, we know how much of a disgrace he thought of him as, and even if the same doesn't apply to Azula it's not like it was so easy for faces to be known in the time that the show takes place in. Most people probably heard about Zuko and Azula but never saw their faces, it's very clear how egotistical the firelord was so he was probably not that interested in promote anyone else besides him

Yeah, and even in the real world it was much more common for peasants to not know what royalty actually looked like in person before photography was invented, especially if they lived far away from the capital or in a completely different country. The rulers deliberately had themselves painted to look more attractive than they actually were, and even built their culture around heraldry or clan symbols, just so people would know who they were. So if they were to disguise themselves as peasants, chances would be they could get away with it. Even Louis XVI, while trying to flee the country dressed down, was caught only because he was pictured on banknotes.

10; Yes they did...The Finale demonstrated that during Sozin's Comet, a Firebender's power is enhanced enough that they can propel themselves into the air, like rockets. But even barring that, the show already demonstrates an explanation of how they got there, as during the Episode at the _Northern Air Temple_ the tanks are seen using grappling hooks and cables to scale the sides of the mountains. _Dozens of Troops_ could scale the mountain that way. 9; the latters that you listed weren't really _nations._ You see, what you're ultimately describing are cities and tribes; these people still exist within the borders of the Established Four Nations, and thus fall under their umbrella. Omashu isn't its own sovereign nation; it's just a city in the Southern Earth Kingdom; King Bumi is king of the City, but even he would have to answer to the greater authority of the Earth King in Bah-Singh-Sei. Hell, technically even though the Fogee Swamp People are Water-Benders, by geography alone, they fall under "Earth Kingdom" citizenship. The Southern Water Tribe actually _isn't separate_ from the Northern One; the Southern Tribe was more or less a colony that the North Established, that grew into a thriving society - as all part of the Water Tribe Nation. But when the Fire Nation attacked the Southern Tribe, many of its men went to war and most of its benders were killed. So now the South limps on. 8; In the _highly unlikely event_ that the Avatar is born into the Fringe Groups in Isolation - they will literally do as the Air-Nomads do. Once the Avatar has completed their training of their natural element, they will be sent-off into the world to find teachers of each other element. Paying attention to the show answers a lot of these questions. 7; ...Okay I'll give you that one... 6; I don't believe that Aang is _forgetting_ to Airbend here; he's just refusing to deal with a complete Karen. 5; The Necklace is made from a _flower_ - one that's already _dead._ Of course it wasn't going to last. 4; Why would they? Information doesn't travel all that fast in the Avatar world - hell, it takes _months_ for a series of messages to reach the group when they're in Bah-Singh-Sei. Plus, the Earth Kingdom is currently at _War_ with the Fire Nation; they're not going to have renderings or depictions of Ozai and his Children even if it is to spread information; newspapers don't exist yet. And unlike the Fire Nation, the Earth Kingdom doesn't have a unified or organized Education System. Most Earth Kingdom Citizens are under-educated peasants whose information regarding the war is purely _hearsay._ Plus, when it comes to Zuko - people are instead going to assume that he was _injured_ by a Fire Bender; who is going to suspect that he's actually the Crowned Fire-Prince whose own Tyrant-Father did that to him? When it comes to them being on Ember-Island, they _intentionally_ wanted it that way; they wanted to be in an environment where no one knew who they were. Plus - they've basically grown-up in a Palace - isolated from the rest of society. Not many are going to recognize them; and even if someone did, they'd probably shake it off, not believing that the Prince and Princess would be _here_ of all places. 3; Iroh was a very spiritual man who had long-since trained himself to seek-out the Spirits for guidance. It is possible for people to come across Spirits in the Physical world y'know. 2; They probably formed _after_ the Air-Nomad Genocide. And when it comes to secret-organizations, it's all about waiitng for the _opportune moment,_ gathering forces and strength behind the scene. 1; Fire is a Tool; just because someone is adept at using a tool doesn't mean they can't be hurt by it. Also, you've made 11 Holes at this point; Comet's Tails are actually long and beautiful because they are _reflecting the Sun's Light_ so effectively, a Firebender is getting _double_ the Sunlight.

Here you go buddy: 1. Fire nation had the tanks that scale mountains. 2. Four distinct nations, based on the element they bend 3. It is more of an unanswered question instead, not a plot hole 4. I don't believe it shows that Aang forgot how to air-bend, it just suggests he wasn't overly interested in showing off in public while embarking on a critical mission. 5. Like you said, the necklace was made of fishing line and flowers, and the latter withers away pretty quickly. You wouldn't want to wear a rotting flower around your neck forever, would you? 6. It is not odd. It is consistent with the rest of the royals in the show. Also, it is relevant in today's world too. Even You don't know what children of all famous people look like on this day...well probably you would know some of the ones adopted by movie stars. 7. The show is about the last Airbender. If the show runners write "the dragon of the west" they will address your question about Iroh's background and his link to the spirit world. 8. Same as above 9. You must have missed out big on the "destiny" theme in the show. It was the Avatar's destiny to defeat the oppressor and bring balance. Similarly White Lotus's destiny was probably to assist the force of good in the war between Good and Evil. 10. You seem to answer your own question in the question. But just in case, here's the recap - they Bend fire but don't get burned while doing it just like water benders bend water but don't wet their hands doing it but may get soaking wet if they get splashed at and did not get the chance to bend or avoid the incoming projectile. Also, one doesn't get cut wielding a sword ( well most don't) but might not have the same outcome when their enemies wield it against them. 11. Agreed on the technicality. A meteor is usually a fragment of a comet that burns after entering the Earth's atmosphere, while a comet neither enters the Earth's atmosphere nor does it burn. This is the only observation that holds "water" 😉

1: They used dragons to rid them and then hunted them for sport. 2: Swampy and Sun Warriors are somewhat hidden from everyone else. A nation is and I quote, 'a large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.' 3: The Avatar Spirit most likely knows where to go next, and pick the next Avatar who has an opposite personality from the last. 4: Have you ever heard of crossbreeding? 5: And risk the Fire Nation knowing where they were? Not to mention, how can one see air? 6: It probably fell out mid battle? 7: How does someone know know how they look like? Plot Hole 1: I always thought this was answered in the Northern Air Temple. They had those metal vehicles that could climb up there. Advanced weapons could easily do it. Or dragons like you said. Not a plot hole. Plot hole 2: Foggy Swamp and Sun Warriors are unknown to most people. Not nations. Northern and Southern water tribes are part of the same nation, and Omashu has always been part of the Earth Kingdom--thought that was obvious. Also, the nations refer more to their element, rather than their loyalty. On Kyoshi Island, they don't bend at all, so they could be independent, for example. Not a plot hole. Plot hole 3: Their names are just translations into our language, as we never hear their native tongue at all. Also not all animals have combined-names, such as the Shearshu, Unagi, etc. Not a plot hole. Plot hole 4: Valid. Aang could have shown his airbending there. But we got Suki back so I'm okay with it. Plot hole 5: This is probably the most annoying video I've ever seen. Plot hole 6: Not a plot hole. Just people outside of the capital wouldn't care. It is unexplained. Plot hole 7: Ignoring Korra entirely, I think it was supposed to stay a mystery of Iroh's journey to the Spirit World. However, many other characters interact with spirits, like Kuruk's girlfriend whose face was stolen by Koh. And Zhao when he visited Wa Xi Tong' library. It seems like that if someone is seeking it, they can find a way to the spirit world. Not a plot hole, and actually one of the most intriguing mysteries in Avatar. If it gets explained, I hope it plays it straight, revolving around Lu Ten and Iroh changing from the war-hungry man he was to who he is now. Plot hole 8: The White Lotus is a secret society. Also, Iroh specifically said that if he were to take back the throne, for example, history would see it as just brother fighting against brother for power. Similarly, if Bumi, Paku, or Jeong Jeong did it. The Avatar as a neutral figure, had to do it. Not a plot hole. Plot hole 9: They never touch the fire. For example in Agni Kais they bend it away from their body. There is always the possibility of serious burns, like Zuko's. Most of the time, any burns they might get are not shown, even for non-firebenders, to avoid too much gruesomeness. When they bend, it never touches their hands or feet without pain and injury. Not a plot hole, you just weren't paying attention. Plot hole 10: Wow, you made the worst video on KZitem. The only actual plot hole was the one from The Serpent's pass.

@kidragakas

@@kidragakas in one of the comics it did explain that some air nomads did survive and that the fire nation used relics stolen from the air temple to lay traps in an attempt to lure them and kill them. So going off that and another theory I've heard it is possible that some air benders did survive and go into hiding throughout the other nations. They obviously hid or no longer used their powers in fear of the fire nation, so their traditions wouldn't be passed down. But when harmonic convergence happened it awoke the air powers in their descendents, leading to the new benders. Also even though Bumi wasn't a Bender originally he was still aangs son so when the convergence he inherited his father's ability to air bend. I guess going through a tattoo removal session would be... Interesting with an air Bender 😂

1. They showed the montain climber vehicles in the show. And a very good theory in my opinion is that they also used dragons and afterwards exterminated them, because they didn't wanted anybody else to use that power or the dragons weren't exactly happy with the way they had been used. Afterall Sozin started the hunt for dragons. Plus they attacked while the had the power of Sozin comet so with a quick surprise attack no Airnomad could escape. 2.Their were just 4 nations. The air nomads are extinct, the water tribes count as one nation, because only the war seperated them, Omashu and Ba Sind Se both are part of the earth kindom, even thou they are ruled by two seperate people and then there is the fire nation. The swamp tribe and the sun warriors aren't nations they are just indigenous tribes cut of from the rest of the world. As in the real world that doesn't means they are there own nations. They live on the grounds of other nations. 3. Thats no plot hole, just an interesting possible plot. 4. They have or had or normal animals. They are just rare or extinct. This is shown by the bear from Ba Sing Se. 5. No, everyone new the avatar was dead as the rest of the air nomads. His air bending would only show he is an air nomad who somehow survived. If he would have bend multiple elements he would have proven he is the avatar. Which he could have done. The only reason for him to not do that is that he is normally humble and doesn't want other people to know he is special. The only problem there is that he showed others his true self immediately. 6. A necklace made out of flowers, those thing last for centuries. 7. Ozais Face was everywhere not the faces of Zuko and Azula. The only reason Zuko could have been identified is his scar, but I don't think that would have been made public out side of the military. 8. The Avatar was the bridge between the human and the spirit world. It is nowhere said his the only one who could build a connection. And as in Korras series shown if you meditate and have the right mind set you could build a connection to the spirit world. 9. Because it wasn't a big and powerful organisation. Yes they had many members everywhere around the world and even some pretty powerful benders. But they had no army, at least they never showed one. And to take down the leader of a Military nation within a fortified place you need an army. 10. They are not fire prove and in the show it is said, that learning to bend fire is very dangerous and you must be focused to do it. And an extra is that they always depict it with space between the bender and the fire. 11. A comet can be helpful for fire benders since they normally have a tail and this tail is made out of plasma and I would say if somebody could control plasma it has to be fire benders. so the only ones not benefitting would be the air benders.
