The Honda Center in Anaheim is a good stadium. I know it is old but it is a great start. An expansion team in it’s first year won’t win a championship. It takes time and people have to be patient. If the team generates a lot of revenue via ticket sales, then a new stadium will make sense.

I think when it comes to nba expansion talks y'all overthink this way too much. It's GOING to be Seattle and Vegas both cities are BIG and WEALTHY and have NEW stadiums. They are DESTINED to get nba teams. But for the sake of talk if the nba in lets say 20 years from now did more expansions I think Austin, San Diego, are great candidates but my sleeper is Vancouver and Montreal 2 huge Canadian cities and you could have toronto for the middle end of the country Vancouver for the west and Montreal for the far east.

It might mean that Pelicans would consider relocation, keeping the same team name, just rename the city it hosts, like STL or something. Honestly, the new conference structure after expansion would mirror MLB and NFL, like American and National leagues or conferences respectively, and divided into four divisions based on geography, and ABA-BAA(NBA) merger timeline.
@Edwards-Videos

2:20 If another team was put in Canada, as long as the team isn't too close to Toronto, the other team would succeed and it would be unlikely to take fans away from the Raptors - it might actually help to make both teams successful as they battle it out during head-to-head games for the "Best Team in Canada."

The city is to pay $537 million, with the Flames owners and the province paying $356 million and $300 million over three years, respectively.
