@@tjjackson242 I study finance, I've read plenty. Weak EMH is about as fine as it gets. If you think the market is rational and makes quality decisions 24/7 you're kidding yourself. Any great investor doesn't believe in EMH such as Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, Joel Greenblatt, Benjamin Graham, Peter Lynch, Michael Burry, Seth Klarman, George Soros, Carl Ichan, Robert Shiller and to be honest this list could go on for some time. Charlie doesn't even believe in WACC, MPT or many academic teachings. Maybe drop that superiority complex of yours, you aren't as intelligent as you think unless you're smarter than Munger and many other talented investors. Imagine going around on the internet telling people to read more as if you're the almighty investor. EMH has become a total failure over the past 3-4 decades, becoming less convincing by the day. The market is generally efficient over the long term, there is still inefficiencies around. Weak EMH is the only hypothesis that stands true. There HAS to be some form of efficiency. "ReAd MoRe." Let go of that ego my guy.

Okay!! Before this debate gets too long here, let me clarify the context in which I was talking to.. 1. I’m not a professional in Shares Market. My profession is different. I buy/sell shares when I see opportunities. And it’s possible because I’m the manager of my own Portfolio. 2. Global Events influence a market too much. Thanks to my profession, where every information is available instantly. And when I know something is about to happen, of course I’ll adjust my portfolio, because I’m the manager. 3. It doesn’t matter whether share price is rising or falling. A hell lot of money is made on both side. Your self management and awareness is deeply needed. When you lose money, it’s solely your’s responsibility and not anyone else’s. 4. I’m not a patient investor as Warren Buffet. In fact I can’t be a Warren Buffet in this life and I’m very sure about this. I love to splurge my money on things I love. My goal is not to die filthy rich. My goal is to just to have enough money to buy whatever I want. 5. I invest, only when I see big opportunities in the market. And when I invest, I do it in millions. I’m not a regular investor. Hopefully, these points will clear up the context in which I made my comment.
