NASA's astronaut requirements now require a masters degree in any STEM subject, previously you just needed to have a bachelors degree. There are other ways to fulfill this requirement, www.nasa.gov/audience/forstudents/postsecondary/features/F_Astronaut_Requirements.html provides the most up to date information

Your personality is like Neil De Grasse Tyson. You need to do some more interviews with the space and planning aspects of going interstellar. There is a good book called Packing for Mars, by Mary Roach. She would be a great interview. Also you could ask Mr.Tyson do your vlogs. We have Apollo astronauts close to leaving us, they would be great to interview. Charles Duke, he is 84 so hurry. Your going to do big things in this field, keep making it fun to watch. I'm proud of you!!

Hey Abby, I have a few questions (maybe not related to your video), I want to pursue a career in the space industry, I get stuck at "which branch of it to pursue? and how?, if I choose a branch will it be useful for future space missions?" these are exact questions I go through every time I think about pursuing a career in space, I'm totally clueless where to start (I've done my Bachelors in Electronics).....If you could suggest or even make a video about it, would be really helpful. Thank you, Abby!

Hi Abby. Has NASA solved the problem of overtaking Van Halen's belt? Apolo astronauts were stuttered when asked about this. How does NASA today plan to make astronauts pass the belt undamaged ? Thanks.

I don't think NASA has come up with a new plan, mostly because it's not necessary. The apollo astronauts were in the belts for a short amount of time on their way to the Moon. The astronauts only ended up receiving radiation equivalent to 2 CT head scans during their time in the belts, that's it. kzitem.info/news/bejne/r3uts4Fmi3eLfYY
