Red hair comes from both sides of the family… it’s a recessive gene. If only one family member passed it on, then it will be cancelled by a different dominant gene.

According to Royal Archives, Elizabeth I left strict instructions that upon her death, no doctor was to examine her body for any purpose. Makes you wonder why she refused to marry and at least attempt to leave an heir to keep the Tudor line going. 🤔

Considering what a monster her father became and how he treated his wives it's no wonder she never married. Look at what happened to her own mother Queen Anne.

@@victoriabardsley8097 very true and I’ve thought about that before as well. But at the same time, it’s well known how the different dynasties of monarchs were determined to keep their family line in power. Henry VIII is a prime example of that, not to mention the Plantagenets and the Stuarts.
@victoriabardsley8097

@@kellyshomemadekitchen I also think that Henry VIII is one of the best examples of one of the great monarchs who was not born to wear the crown. Although we all know that there's no way his father Henry VII would have gotten anywhere near the crown without the help of his mother Lady Margaret.

with Elizabeth II there was a rule that during her pregnancies with Princes Andrew and Edward, she, as Queen, is not allowed to make public appearances or be photographed with a baby-bump for the entire duration of the pregnancy. The palace would at some point announce the new arrival. This is done to prevent any assassination attempts during a vulnerable period, the same applies to Kate, she is not allowed to make a public appearance until she made a full recovery from her surgery. Depending on the seriousness of the surgery, it can easily take up to 3 months to properly recover (which is normal). That being said, if complications arose during surgery or recovery, then it's the Palace's responsibility to respect wishes for privacy regarding the matter. I.o.w. no announcement regarding Kate's health is gonna be made unless she herself (or the King) approved it.

Richard the third had both Princes bastardized. So there's no reason for him to have them killed.
@kellyshomemadekitchen

Who do you think killed them? During that time, as well as before and after, monarchs had reason to worry that if a legitimate royal heir was alive, the people could revolt and support said heir for the throne. Interestingly enough, a few years after Henry VII was on the throne, an Irish teenager claimed to be the younger of Edward IV’s sons, Richard of York and many people did support him for the throne. He ended up being an imposter but is still a good example of why Richard III probably did have his nephews killed. Not to mention, his bastardizing of them was not popular amongst the masses.

As for Elizabeth the first, according to the movie Anonymous, Elizabeth had two bastards one from the Earl of Sussex and the other from her son by Essex (only she didn't know her Paramore was her son).

Regarding the Princes in the Tower until their remains are conclusively identified we'll never know if they were even murdered. Richard wasn't the only one who had the motive. Some even suspect Lady Margaret Beaufort as well.

Oh, such nonsense. According to the Official Statement of the Palace, the boys are still happy playing with their toys at the garden, and watching telly. Nothing to see anywhere. Princess Kate has gone shopping, and couldn`t be healthier.
