Lol if it was for college aged kids at the time, they would of gotten one years worth of education. Out of that $10,000. I graduated Collage in 1989. So that was pretty accurate at the time. That would of been heartbreaking for the kid today. To think Mom went thu that on tv for you. And it isn't enough to actually pay for anything. Even with interest that wasn't enough to do anything for that kid.

The Swan, which was already on one of your lists, the original Extreme Makeover, and Bridalplasty. There were representatives from Allure Magazine at the auditions for The Swan trying to convince the girls not to go through with such an awful idea. These shows set back women's self-esteem by decades by telling us we need to drastically change our appearance to be beautiful, have love, and be accepted. Also, Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire and the one show in which women tricked their boyfriends into marrying them on national television. Married At First Site is one show on the air today that really isn't a good idea.

On the 70s syndicated revival of "What's My Line?", I believe what they did was take four members of the studio audience, and the panel would try to match each given occupation with that person. The main premise of the show was to ask yes or no questions to determine the occupation, so it fit better on that show.

@precious_muse From people who I know at the time were part of the production group, there were several games played (not for TV. If you have seen the recent behind-the-scenes of Jeopardy it's very much the same) and multiple times dropping through the drop zone. Now even with all that you will still have moments when medical personnel will be needed and that was covered by the insurance for the production company. Yes a waiver may be signed, but there is still a threshold that would determine things. For example, if you remember Benjamin Ray Bailey (former Cash Cab host) when he did the show Who's Still Standing there was an accident during the actual game time (what would be seen on TV) where I believe it was 3 drop zones (that show had 11 drop zones) that opened up by an accident and it injured I believe the main player and after she decided to take the money she decided to walk down the stairs instead of dropping through the floor which I believe she was the only one to take the stairs, and the production company's insurance paid her medical bills and paid for her to recover. Do accidents happen yes but that is why insurance exists. Going back to the video The Chamber is a very big thing about that even if you sign a waiver (which was shown being signed before being fully strapped into their chair device) there are still things the production company is still liable for

I don’t necessarily agree with identity being on this list and I’ll tell you why the 12 characteristics that were given out at the end of each game were the easiest way for the contestants to tell the strangers a part the idea was to try to figure out who was who just based on their parents during the show second run in 2007 they did allow the strangers to speak a little bit at a time but the game itself really wasn’t that bad in fact I’d say it deserves another shot
