Martial arts is not about fighting; it's about building character. I see martial arts as moving forms of meditation. When you're sparring or drilling techniques, you can't think of anything else. Fighting is an expression. It's a form of speech, and that's why they call it martial arts. It's an art 🤗🤗🤗

Still, Jackie Chan is a legend in his own right. He really deserves the title _survivor..._ No one was as prolific and dedicated as him in his stunt-filmography and it cost him an arm and a leg so to speak... He seriously couldn't find any insurance willing to take him due to his track record of injuries. Also, he's a badass in real life too. Like Bruce Lee, he had some problems with organized crime! Obviously, I wonder how much more Bruce Lee would have been able to achieve in real life, but I fear that he was a bit too early for becoming a legend in MMA and that his style of movies would have come out of style, whereas Jackie Chan stayed relevant until he grew too old.

Bruce Lee was at the peak of his martial arts ability in the movie Enter the Dragon. Faster than lightning more powerful than thunder. Also probably just a one-on-one fight the best with Bruce Lee was with Chuck Norris in the Roman Colosseum. It was noteworthy how Bruce Lee improvised and adapted to his opponent using different martial arts skills and techniques to defeat his opponent. For his weight size and and level achieved in martial arts I don't know if there's a modern-day anyone close to would resemble Bruce Lee or at his level of technique? Does anyone have an example of who would be equivalent to Bruce Lee today?

If I can remember correctly Chuck Norris said Bruce was doing weight lifting with a friend and hurt his back. Bruce was given medication for his back pain. Then Bruce was getting headaches. Somewhere they were shooting a movie (Game Of Death???). One of the female co actress gave Bruce an antibiotic for his headache. Unfortunately the antibiotic and the back pain medications caused a brain aneurysm (blood clot). Chuck Norris said this caused Bruce Lee death.

I always liked the fight with Bob Wall's character in Enter the Dragon. Here you have an intimidating character who was shown having skill and durability and before as an attempt to intimidate Bruce Lee's character he smashes a board in front of him. Bruce says that golden line "Boards don't hit back." The conviction in his voice says it all and then he starts to cut him down to size before the final stomp that ends it. It has Bruce's determination and Wall's violent desperation, they aren't just fighting they're acting.

Even a part of the dialogue from Lee himself was missing in that scene. I also got to see a clip of Bruce sparring with another guy who was really good, & he tried to hit Bruce. He couldn't. Period. He couldn't even fake Bruce out & hit him, it was glorious. (Saw this clip on JK News.)

There are so many debates on who is the greatest in all different things, football, baseball, basketball? You hear arguments about Jordan v LeBron, Peyton v Brady, Emmitt Smith v Jim Brown? All are viable arguments, but in the world that is Martial Arts, there is no debate, never has been!! Bruce Lee, is the true Master, & will forever hold that title!!

The Big Boss was titled Fists of Fury, in the U.S. It was the first martial arts movie, staring Bruce Lee, that I saw. I was amazed at the Ice Plant fight scene, which was my first, good check out of his abilities, and they waited long enough, with not much else, before showing this scene, in the movie. What amazed me was; Bruce Lee was always in perfect balance, and never broke form. His movements were as close to perfect as I have seen. You could tell that he was super fast, whether the camera was speeded up, or not. He made himself, whipping over 30, experienced fighters, at a time, look almost believable. That said, my favorite fight scene was in the Japanese dojo, in what was titled in America, at that time as, The Chinese Connection. I believe it was originally the one actually titled, Fists of Fury.
