Here are the top 10 lessons I've learned from reading 300 books. This isn't just for a clicky title - These lessons actually came from reading 300 books that I've read and tracked on GoodReads. These are lessons that have personally resonated with me the most. This is an old video that I just got around to uploading so already some of the lessons are outdated in my life. You may not resonate with all of them and that's okay. If you get at least one great lesson from this video, then it's a huge win for me, and for you! I'll include a list of the 300 books here in the description within a few days once the site is up again. P.S. Life has been a rollercoaster this year hence the inconsistent uploads 0:04 - Nobody Has It Figured Out 0:44 - Lucid Dreaming Coule Be The Next Superpower 1:59 - The Distribution Revolution Is Here 2:38 - Life Is Really Simple 4:01 - Perhaps Some Who Can't Save Themselves, Can Save Others? 4:24 - The Solution to Contradictory Advice 4:47 - Your Life Is a Product of Your Environment 5:46 - How You Do One Thing, Is How You Do Everything 6:26 - Focus On One Thing 7:21 - Reading Is A Waste Of Time

And after you say reading is a waste of time, you make people read why it is a waste of time. *THAT. WAS. AWESOME!* And I completely agree with you. You can't just read books about improving your lives, and then keep doing what you were doing before. You have to put that information into action. You have to start practicing what you have learned. Otherwise, you are 100% correct, reading would be a waste of time. 🤔

Learning new things is addictive. To be honest I'm also I'm i info junkie. If you want to change your life you gotta take action and have a reason why. It's simple but hard at the same time.

OUTSTANDING VIDEO! How you do one thing is how you do everything. I've heard this from other people that I have a lot of respect for. IT'S TRUE. I'd say finding a meaning to life, is at the root of a good life. And finally, kill distractions to that don't contribute to your top goals. Well DONE, Brandon.

Wow. Mostly the content of a book is almost nonsense and kept beating aroun the bush until they get to the point and probably can be condensed into a one single idea. This video is so condensely packed with great and useful ideas and needs to be watched again.

Lesson 5 That's all you need to do..... Sounds so simple right!?!?!? I wish it was just that easy but it's not. That being said I know from experience it CAN be just that easy. What wasn't mentioned though was that in order to do those things, or any of the things in this video, is developing the habit of doing them. That's the hard part! To me that's the secret, creating good habits. You have to make habits of doing the things that help you succeed and cut out the things that hinder you. For me it was like getting a freight going. It started out slow moving and took a lot of effort. But once I got started and generated some movement and results it was almost like I was unstoppable. So long story short it's not easy but totally worth it! Love your channel btw! Thanks for keeping me inspired.

Loved those last 3 points. At the end of the day, no one on the internet is going to give you the golden key that opens the door to be who you wish you were. I think a lot of us are way more addicted and/or reliant on it than we realize

things that are learned only become experiential once they are put into practice in the physical through 'doing'. this is the journey from the crown (thought) to the root (physical manifestation).

10 great lessons! I'm not as far along as you with my videos on books, but I hope to get there one day in the future. Lesson #7: "Life is simple" might be the biggest understatement in the world. We all try to over complicate things, when we need to understand that life really is simple, and the reason we think it is complicated is because we are complicating it. *Thanks for always sharing such great videos, and providing great insights into the books you have read!* You inspired me to start my own channel sharing the info I have gathered from the books I've read. Hoping to follow in your successful footsteps. 💪🤘

Have considered it but upon reflection, I feel like I'd like to write a spiritual book but I have so much more to learn. There's plenty of fantastic books by realized ones like Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta, Sri Yukteswar etc. Sure I could write one based on my current experience that could help others, but opportunity cost! Many other great things I could be doing too! Cheers.

I'd say that reading 134 books, then realizing they weren't helping you in real life is saying that reading did something for your time; by making a good mistake. That's like saying falling off a bike is a waste of a mistake when learning how to ride.

I think that the best adives is 1)Build better habits than those you have now. 2) Find a job that you liked it the most(because job takes 1/3 of our time). 3) Find friends and partners who want the good of yours and who can develop each other. 4) Find time to build the relationships with your father, mother, brothers e.t.c. but don't waste time to try to change them. THATS ALL.

Lucid dreaming can be dangerous. There was a guy who worked in security company, he had a miserable life. He started lucid dreaming in which he was a "superhero". After that he's only goal in real life was to get to bed in order to start being "superhero" again.

Man look into Islam. If you actually wanna find the truth u have to look into all perspectives! We weren’t created to create a meaning for ourselves; hence, your feeling of being lost. Your heart won’t find peace until u actually find out why we’re here. That’s how we were created. It’s our nature/ instinct. Just be truthful in ur search for what’s right. Not only running after what you want to be right (confirmation bias).

My search for truth has lead me to Advaita Vedanta, which appeals to me as a critical thinker. I have a friend who recently turned back to Islam but I haven't seen the appeal yet.
