Hulk: The End might have one of the funniest moments I've ever read in a Marvel comic where Bruce Banner is visited by a robotic probe from another planet, the probe tells Bruce "We thought everything on Earth was dead so aliens sent this robotic probe to investigate the life sign they discovered" Bruce says "Why were they hoping the Earth was habitable again" The probes response "NO, the aliens who sent me thought everything on Earth was dead and they just want to take comfort in knowing IT REMAINS DEAD"

I always thought that Stryker pointing at NightCrawler was a good source of irony because if you Know anything about the X-Men you'd know early on that Kurt Wagner was Heavily Catholic/ Christian so I always thought that was so funny because basically this shows the goodness in worship and the extremes in worship

Stryker isn't Christian, he just uses that as an excuse to make the world the way he wants, just like how most "christians" yell at people that they are going to hell. That not how a real Christian should act towards anyone. But that is ironic how he pointed a gun at Nightcrawler

@@johnfranklin87 -Well yes, but actually no.- I can't help but correct this. 'Christians' of today are not really Christians, at least not the way we mean Christian when we say the word. There are very few Christians at all; it is not even true to be only referring to the inherent 'lukewarmness' the other would-be's talk about. No, I must say I've yet to meet a single Christian, for the term itself is a contradiction. You cannot be loyal to the institution of Christianity whilst having even half the integrity the institution claims to strive for. The whole religion is a lie, their founder and his apostles being the only ones worthy of the title, though they would certainly reject it. Christianity is their own harlot of Babylon. They are a false sect of hypocrites and sheep led by an obviously corrupt pretender organization. Read Revelation 17 through the lens of belief that the beast is Rome and the Mystery Harlot is the Catholics. (The vatican sits on a hill across a river from seven hills) Consider it was almost exactly 1000 years from the finalization of the Catholic Creed in the 400s (325 Nicaean creed wasn't finished until a hundred years later after arguments over the holy spirit) that Martin Luther initiated the protestant reformation. Evil was defeated, though not completely obviously. For 1000 years the Catholics used dishonest religion-fed virtue signaling to exercise political control over Europe and even areas of India and Africa. Even after their sway was weakened, still there are those who fall victim to the lies of the harlot of prophecy. Those are who we call Christians. The Catholics suppressed free thought for 1000 years, and ever since their power over the people has begun to diminish, we see prosperity come as a result. Yeah that's an extremely simplified perspective, but prophecies are usually based on reductionist perspectives anyway.

@@johnfranklin87 No, Stryker sounds like an actual christian. christianity and catholicism fall under the same umbrella... maybe what you meant was that catholicism is not the same as protestant/evangelical/reformation. christians are pretty ignorant when it comes to what their bible teaches... they pick and choose the stories to sucker people in and then brainwash them. For example, the word Satan means adversary but it was typically used as a derogatory term for non jews. The bible constantly mentions gentiles (non jews) and considers them unclean. This is what we're currently facing in America with some of these right wing, christian politicians (Trump, Taylor Greene, DeSantis, Cruz, etc).

In the comic Logan says his nose was tricked as well. All the villains teamed up so Mysterio has they’re scents . Also Mysterio has tricked Spider-Man spider sense which is basically seeing into the future. If he can do that he can fool wolverines enhanced senses with this kind of backing. I always thought it would sell it better if he has help. likeMysterio , Mastermind, and Shadow king all assaulted Logan senses at once. The comics have had Mysterio show the ability to dupe peoples super senses though. So this isn’t that wild
@Nonlifting_breezy

@@Midv1322 yeah spider man don’t have a sense of smell. Many of times wolverine has sniffed out the impostor and the comic doesn’t say that mysterio used that against him. He just made everyone that was already around wolverine look like someone else.
@paxhumana2015
Жыл бұрын
@@Nonlifting_breezy , what if Mysterio DID, in fact, invent something that was specifically designed to counteract Wolverine's ability to sniff out imposters? Mysterio is, in fact, an inventor by heart, as well as also is one of the most gifted inventors in the Marvel Universe, like up there with Doctor Doom, Reed Richards, Arcade, The Tinkerer, Hiro Tanahashi, Forge, Iron Man, Amadeus Cho, T'Challa, Shuri, Ironheart, Hank Pym, and Egghead, so it could be entirely possible, despite it not being explained in the comic series, that Mysterio had made an invention that had nullified that ability that Wolverine had to sniff out imposters. Now combine that with something that screwed up his senses, and, well, you have something that could truly break Wolverine, like, even worse than Magneto not only literally ripping out his adamantium skeleton, but also ripping out the metal that is in every last one of his cells, and then using them as weapons against him, and then crushing his body like a person crumbling up a sheet of paper into a ball.

One of my favorite "What Ifs"? When I read this comic years ago, it changed the way I saw Cain. Up to that point, he showed a different side a few times when traveling along with Black Tom and his depiction in the X-Men cartoon. I suspect the writers also felt that his character needed more fleshing out. About a few years later, we all saw that Cain was a very complex (emotionally inmature) man. He is not an anti-hero persay but a man with abandonment issues that manifested in his envy towards his little stepbrother. Prof X noticed this without using his psychic powers; hell, any student psychiatrist could quickly diagnose his problem within minutes. As time passed, Caine realized this too, but instead of trying to correct this with the best mental health professional, he knows (Charles) he buried his pain and regret. I have no doubt Cain loves Charles. Both men have been betrayed by their family members and share a bond that only brothers could understand. I hope that Cain will someday find his way. Yeah, I like the guy.

trapped inside the iron man suit is a dark thing to thing about, but everything about Tony Stark's character suggests that the suit wouldn't work that way - if it lost all power, there's no way it would be designed to just freeze up like that. That's some "interesting" writing, for sure
@daviemeister3355
Жыл бұрын
Exactly my thoughts. Its a very stupid writing idea for just one reason alone: It goes against Tony’s character. So let me get this straight, the man who created a source of infinite energy (not with a team of scientists or the best minds on earth, but on his own, counting Howard Stark as help), who created a suit that can somehow nullify all the laws of physics that would kill him as a mortal man, created hulk busters and stuff for contingency sakes, and is just a 1000 steps ahead when it comes to upgrading his armours and technology; SOMEHOW didn’t think of how to take off the suit if there was no power or an EMP intervened? That’s a whole load of BS. 😂 If you are going to make an unrealistic character that can easily create multiple ground breaking technologies and give a massive F bomb to most of the laws of physics, then that character should definitely have multiple ways and failsafes to take the suit off, in the event that something like an EMP happened. Guess thats why the Punisher vs The marvel Universe never becomes a canon story or is never intended to be a canon story. Because if it was, then that would involve the most brain dead method of taking down superheroes.
@ROSPoetry1

The darkest part of Hulk The End is that Banner asks Hulk to come with him to "Heaven" where he can find peace but Hulk wants to stay. Thats why it sould have been number 2 at least.

Ruins is so “dark” it felt like a bad parody.

Professor-X has always been a shady scumbag even in the regular MCU. How many mutants did he personally get killed in the comics? The guy was in love with a female teenager no wonder Jean Grey is so messed up.

What's also great about the Jugg What If, is an advertisement for Maggie Neto.
