POSE is such a good show and educational. When Elektra reads Lulu and Candy she renewed her library card for eternity. But my all time favorite episode was the one that was also bittersweet and that was an important episode was when Candy died. When she lip synced I almost wanted to cry because she didn’t need to die but I understand why this particular episode was important. White trans people do get discriminated but they make it out to the other just barely. Black and brown trans people aren’t that lucky and that’s why this show is needed today so we can learn and understand. On a side note if I were Blanca I could’ve shut down Federica with this read: MADONNA WAS THE BETTER EVITA!

Dude I balled my eyes out during her lip singing performance. This week I watched 2 seasons on Netflix and cried like a baby on almost every episode. I never knew much about this community, what they went through and continue to go through. The family/"House" dynamic is absolutely amazing. To have love, acceptance, recognition and appreciation should automatically be a given. But to fear for your life on the daily is awful and disheartening. Every community has its issues and negative people, that was shown as well. I didnt know my entire being has been influenced by the generation and community from the 80s/90s. I want to say thank them so so so much! I will continue to do my part to have your voice heard properly. Oh and slay as much as I can!!!🙏💕💕💕😥💐

WHAT ?! that xmas episode in S1 at the end with all the main characters around the table in the chinese restaurant ?! that one gets me EVERY time ! Candy's funeral f'd me UP ! Blanca and Pray Tell's first hospital cabaret ?! (it surpassed the second - which was also amazing !) Elektra's fall from 'grace' working the booths and triumphant return as a dominatrix ? that amazing confrontation between stan's wife and Angel at the diner ? that engaging dialogue between Blanca and Helena at Damon's graduation ? my point is - there are WAY too many memorable moments in this thoroughly engaging series to limit to 10. hell, the whole series is a 10 ! respect...

This show was iconic, to say the least. It had so many heartfelt moments, funny moments, happy and sad moments. I wish it was longer. But for what it was, it was amazing. I learned so much about history and the LGBT+ community. I'm not particularly a supporter of the community but I would never treat anyone with the violence and judgment that was prevalent in the 80s and 90s. Heck even to this day, that judgment and mistreatment still exists. But yeah I really felt for the characters in this show. This was so well put together. I loved it ❤️

Goodness, Papi is my favorite character. He proved himself, (and me, since I agreed with him) correct about him being a prize. When I heard him say it the first time, I burst into tears and cried allowed "YES, YOU ARE!" Most every action after those words proved he was, indeed, a prize. He made me feel happy for Angel. She had someone who truly loved and valued her. He worked to make her feel loved, important, safe, and happy. This character is an absolute heartthrob. He kept constantly raising the bar, and singing instead of reciting vows shattered that bar for me. All the characters were well written, but HE was such a sweetheart!

Dont come for me cause honestly, the show has an amazing storyline and I enjoyed it. But I was saddened by the subtle colorism. Yet again the darkskin femme's on the forefront are the bitter angry ones (Candy and Electra), and the lighter skinned on the forefront ( Blanca and Angel) are more soft and kind. It doesnt hurt changing the narrative every now and then.

For a very long time Sherlock was my favorite TV show. Now it's Pose. I cry just thinking about how masterful it is.

This last season, so many iconic moments. I cant wait for the next season. I just hope I'm not reaching for the tissues so often like season 2. But I have a feeling I will.

You know what was such a wow moment? Even though Damon was exploding on everybody, you see how he literally ran from Pray Tell after calling him a slut. It was almost like he has a flash back from his dad beating him...😭😭😭😭 even in all of that, he still has respect for his elders...he was just hurt and it all came out

Also think about it... remember when Blanca and the teacher had the farewell conversation outside the school and she invited the teacher to the party but she declined...imagine if she had been there for all that...idk if the writers did that on purpose but that was well thought out if they did

I love this show so much! I don't have cable TV anymore so I don't get to watch it on FX and I have to wait for it to show up on Netflix. I was so deliriously happy when I recently realized that season 2 was finally up on Netflix.

Favourite scene Pray Tell explaining how no one is coming to save the gay community from Aids/HIV. How society sees this as their reward for being sinful and free. I've NEVER cried so hard, and committed myself as a fan and an active supporter so hard. I hope it continues for at least another 2 seasons, and wins all the accolades.

This show hit too close to home! I came out in 1983 when I was 16. 1986 I lost a good friend to AIDS. Miss you Willie. I got lucky and dodged that bullet.

When Candy's dad is telling her a story at her funeral and says " he " stops and corrects himself and says " she " I lost it. Man, I already miss this show.
