Sometimes I have to wonder whether or not these people actually watch the movies they're basing reviews on. It's not rocket science to figure out in The Italian Job, he's not buying the car. It was garaged while he was doing locked up. Part of the scene was him distracting the garage clerk while he recovers his thieves tools before discussing the garage bill. How do you confuse all that with 'buying a new car' if you actually watch the damn movie????

He was the first actor I figured out was in multiple movies. I Watched Cars 2 in 2011 where he voice acted Finn McMissile (my favourite character in that movie), and then a few months later when I saw him in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, I heard him speak a few lines as Alexander before shouting "FINN!! IT'S FINN MCMISSILE MOMMY" at the top of my lungs in the middle of a movie theater. Few bad looks from everyone else, some blushed faces on my parents, and a happy 9-year-old me for finding the connection. I was proud of myself.

Loved Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth - he had such a presence as a man who's watching Bruce Wayne do something he feels is right, but may wind up killing himself doing. If like to also praise Mr. Caine for his turn as Ebeneezer Scrooge in "The Muppet Christmas Carol". What about a chance to see How WW2 was won Even before America thought of get in the fight? ......Ladies and Gents I give you the Movie Battle of Britain (1969) Here you have Sir Michael Canine in a role of a real British RAF pilot during the battle ..Not only that But had 2 Advisors One RAF Wing commander Sir Stanford Tuck DSO DFC 2 bars And Luftwaffe Major Gen, Adolfo Galland Knights cross with swords and oak leaves and diamonds These two men fought each other over the sky's of the Channel .. How iconic Is someone that was Knighted Acting as a pilot in a Spitfire while being Advised By Someone How was Knighted that really did fly in the real battle ..How more British can you get without a bowler hat and a cane ? I won't claim that these roles are necessarily better than the ones on the list, but here are a few that I enjoyed: :Lloyd Fellows--Noises Off: This was a fun ensemble piece about a play that is going increasingly off the rails with each iteration, thanks largely to the conflicts among the cast, director and assistants. Caine played the director who gets sucked into the madness and has some wonderfully comic moments throughout the film. Sydney Bruhl--Deathtrap: Based on a play, this film features Caine as a Broadway producer who has a run of flops, but runs across a manuscript that is a surefire hit. This is the setup for murder and mayhem and quite a few plot twists. Caine did a great job of portraying the somewhat over the hill producer who desperately wants a return to glory. Alfred Pennyworth--Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Dark Knight Returns: This should have been more than an honorable mention, since Caine's Alfred did a great job of attempted to ground the increasingly erratic Bruce Wayne. More than any other character (and certainly more than the Burton/Schumacher iteration), Pennyworth grounded the series and showed that Batman/Wayne was not the most stable hero.
