Great video Dan. I’ve owned most of them in my lifetime but the one that I still own and wear from time to time is Polo green. So many scent memories from the late 80’s and early 90’s. Such a great smell and I’ve still never smelled anything like it since.

I’d like to vote in egoiste platinum Drakkar noir Guerlain vetiver Grey flannel With Drakker actually being at the top of that list. And just as an honorable mention I’d have to vote in Pinaud clubman. Literally every man in North America who has had a haircut has worn this fragrance from childhood till death it’s a splash but it’s possibly the most worn fougere at least in the states.

Instead of Aramis, BRUT also Old Spice. While associated with aftershave, they were the first really successful fragrance brands for men. The list is solid, well done but those two belong. Glad you had Polo Green, in the 80's that stuff was legendary.

Good list, one I would add not because its my favourite but CK Obsession for men, it seemed to be everywhere for a long time and is still selling today albeit for a very cheap price. Seemed to be an early amber, sweet fragrance that was different at that time. Personally I much preferred Lagerfeld classic. Also Brut and Old Spice are iconic but seemed to be considered a bit of a joke today.

Great video! A commenter below beat me to the punch, but I gotta second Drakkar Noir. It's probably played out/dated/obvious, but it's a killer---and was one of my Big Three (alongside Polo Green & Fahrenheit) growing up in the 80's.

Great list! The classics. You mentioned in another video the brand Alvarez Gomez. I love their stuff. The Barberia is iconic tmo. But I received Bronce Homme for a ridiculous price of 3,44 Euro for a 30 ml. Polo Green was the Dior Sauvage of the ‘80s, except IMO it didn’t smell as nice. It seemed every frat boy on campus wore it. I couldn’t stand it. Instead, I wore Halston 1-12, which was pretty excellent back then, not so good today.

@@MrSmelly1977 I should revisit Polo Green today. Part of why I couldn’t stand it back then is I smelled everywhere all the time on campus. Guys drenched themselves in it. It was a beast! Maybe my more mature nose could appreciate it now. BTW the Perfume Guy has sung the praises of the old Halston 1-12, but he said it doesn’t smell the same now. I smelled it a year ago and agree with him. It’s changed. Weaker with an unpleasant synthetic note. It was my signature scent for years, always a bargain at Marshalls.
