Greetings and hello from Okinawa Japan! I noticed you mentioned pottery and ceramics in your video. Please don't forget we have awesome ceramics here in Okinawa. Also great choice in picking Ishigaki island. It's a beautiful island. I did want to mention Ishigaki island is very accessible as they have many non-stop flights from Tokyo and Osaka. Hope to see you and your family down here soon!

Thanks for the info! Yes I have been to the one ceramics village in Okinawa, and I also love the glassworks there as well! Have a few pieces which I really treasure. And yes thanks for the reminder: you’re right, Ishigaki is a lot more accessible than some of the other smaller islands there. I am really hoping to visit in the near future!
I like to see Mount Fuji from a mear distance, but prefer not to hike on it, since it needs lots of training. Besides hot spring and large fields, I didn't know that pottery could be the top list, as it is preserved and still operational until today.

It seems to me you are so fascinated with porcelain and ceramic wares. Have you ever been to the Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka(大阪市立東洋陶磁美術館)? If not, I recommend you visit there. The Museum is located in Nakanoshima(中之島)、Osaka. Maybe, not so far from your home. It has a huge collection of historical Japanese, Chinese, Korean porcelain wares worth to see.
