I'm going to do the same road trip soon, and I'm interested to know in what order you did it, I'm thinking about this order (coming from San Francisco to Las Vegas then this): 1. Sand Hollow 2. Zion National Park 3. Bryce Canyon National Park 4. Planet Mars (Bentonite Hills if I'm not mistaken) 5. Factory Butte 6. Swing Arm City 7. Arches National Park 8. Homestead Crater 9. Causey Reservoir 10. Spiral Jetty Circle 11. Bonneville Salt Flats And yes the video has 11 places even though the title says 10. :D

Just got back from Moab, been to Zion and Monument Valley on previous trips, I’ve been all over Europe and most western states and nothing comes close to Utah. Utah is another planet or like earth during the dinosaur era. Can’t wait to go back and see the rest!

Ryan, I took my first trip to Utah last summer and absolutely loved it! I’m a mountains kind of guy but Utah is making me love desert environments. I did Arches, Canyonlands and Deadhorse State Park. I’m coming back to do Zion and Bryce this spring. Loved this video! 👍

I lived in the State of Utah for seven years and i can say that it has one of the best places views and Nationals Parks in the U.S. I honestly recomend Zions National Park. It was my number one. Almost visit all Utah National Parks and i Zions was my favorite one.

As for training for Mars there... the Mars Desert Research Station has been there for at least 15 years now, just north of Hanksville. 2 week long shifts have been running constantly doing research on how to maintain a base on Mars, how to live in isolation, etc. It's pretty cool.

You have to talk about snowbird ski resort and park city ski resort, those are AWESOME the lounge is so nice plus amazing skiing and looking over the city on the tall mountains is so nice

I went to the homestead crater a few years ago but forgot the name of it, so thanks for this vid! Also it was pretty hard to snorkel with a life jacket haha. Utah is more diverse than most countries!

My husband and I love to explore the Utah deserts! It's crazy that you grew up in Utah!! There are places in your list that we haven't seen yet, and there are certainly more of them because Utah is so vast and so diverse, so thank you for sharing this and we look forward to our next trip there!

I would definitely add Goblin Valley, the Lava Tubes, Timpanogos cave, and Mirror Lake (or any lake in the Uintas) to the list. Utah is an absolute delight for outdoor enthusiasts!

I'm from the UK and, since visiting the States some years ago, I fell in love with Utah. Every trip since then has been a road trip with a big chunk of Utah, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado. When the pandemic is over, I'll be back again for a few weeks. The geography is just incredible.
