Would have been 3 titles in 4 years if it weren't for the meltdown against the Jazz the last couple minutes and the greatest offensive 15 foot moving illegal screen foul never called by Malone to free a wide open Stockton for the series winner. The referees were a joke in the final minutes during the 1990s playoffs, they wouldn't call any offensive fouls. It was funny and terribly ironic how the Jazz suffered the same fate against the Bulls the very next year for the game winner and biggest Finals winning shot in NBA history.

This is actually the team format of veteran and youth and cheap good proficient role players the Lakers should of been following instead of the Warriors or Cleveland blueprint!! Davis is AO, James is a overly great Drexler, Westbrook fell off to be a Horry on Steroids with the corner three and can still start, where is your Cassell and Kenny and secondary defensive anchor behind Davis!!! Those are the 3 positions y'all should of been filling. I guess that was turner and heild🤔... That wouldn't of been enough though. You needed a Seth and still a really good horry or Draymond type. Warriors everyone run the floor when the ball come up. Except the Lakers. Stop and give LJ the ball.
