Mike, at 32:10 , it's not a possessive s. The apostrophe in that case means that a word is abbreviated. In this case " 's" is short for "es", meaning "it". Therefore, a pretty direct translation of the game title would be "Shake It". (Oh, btw, it's German.)

This was a fun video to watch, as I expected. It was so fun watching the banter and jokes on this one. 😂 I love Tokyo Jidohanbaiki (Mike's #7). You can create any game you like with it, but I quite like the one where you're buying stock in shapes/colors of the bottles. The suggested dexterity game is quite fun, too. It makes me wish I was clever enough to make up a really fun game with it. Probably would try to make one that makes it more likely for stuff to stick in the vending machine. I do wish they got stuck in there more often.

I kind of disagree with Zee on A Fake Artist Goes to New York. Sure, if you press the details as exactingly as he did it doesn't hold together. But I've always liked the backstory -- that someone on the lamb (from what, we don't know) is trying to blend in with a group of artists in order to keep his identity from being discovered. THAT makes sense. Regarding the exact particulars after that, dip your brush into a little imagination on your palette and carry on!🎨

Lokus has a heart on the door because (almost) all outhouses in bavaria have a heart shaped peephole. It's there for ventilation, to see if it's occupied (or somebody got unconcious, which could happen because of gases) and if you turn the heart shape around it resembles a butt (that's why it got picked for a toilet symboly back in the days, it's a modest and descreet pictogram).

I assumed A Fake Artist Goes To New York .. was representational of .. a fictional conversation rather than in any way literal. Like everyone is talking about how great one piece of art is and you have no idea why they like it so you are pretending to like and just say something to fit in .. 'ah yess.. the textual brushstrokes upon the rotten banana speaks volumes' ... to which they reply 'that's an elbow' ...for example.

14:15 It may be ridiculous to play as a genetic trait but it does make perfect sense. They may not be a conscious entity but they do have the goal of being reproduced--who knows how much these traits drive our behavior (the fact that I have dark hair/skin and I'm "mysteriously" attracted to women with dark hair/skin, is just one example of their power over our supposed "free will").

I own the Queen Games' Shogun 2006 version. The battle system uses a tower where you drop little cubes (armies) and some of them will get stuck in. It's a good game but ridiculous combat results from the tower. Very frustrating when you attack with 8 cubes someone who has 3, then the tower result screw you with a 2-3 result. Sometimes after the final points countdown we empty the tower to find why someone has lost the game even if he played well, a lot of his cubes stuck inside.

The "s" at the end of "Schüttel's" is not possesive. The title (short for "Schüttel es") could be translated as "shake it". As for "Lokus", that's colloquial for toilet. In this case, it's an outhouse, which used to (or at least supposed to have had) heart-shaped openings in their door. "Knattern, bis die Schüssel qualmt!" (on the cover) means (again, colloquially) "shit until the toilet bowl smokes". Don't ask ...

In 1862 flying carpets got seatbelts and in 1884 it was required to use by law. This inspired the first cars to implement it in 1885. 😅 Aladin has done a lot of harm to the flying carpet industry but they didnt have seatbelts because it was set at a earlier point in history. But most assume flying carpets havent improved security since then 😅 Think of Aladin being to flying carpets what monopoly is to boardgaming. A outdated product but the first impression to most consumers 😊
