1) Intamin 2) B&M 3) RMC 4) GCI 5) Arrow Considering the coasters I've ridden Intamin is my favorite because they like to shake things up and push the envelope further. B&M is my favorite steel manufacturer. They have a nice variety of roller coaster models, the rides are built to last and they're very smooth and enjoyable to experience. Even their roughest rides aren't that bad. Intamin is close but I put them at second as a few of their rides are a bit unreliable. I haven't ridden enough RMC or Gravity Group rides to give them a fair judgement so for now my favorite wooden manufacturer is GCI as I love the laterals on a lot of their rides, most of them are pretty smooth for wooden roller coasters and the turns and maneuvers on them are unbelievable.

Good video and great list. One thing I have never been a fan of is the clam shell restraints on B&M coasters. Back in 2019, I had to do the walk of shame on Diamondback at KI. It was so embarrassing! To wait and line and not being able to fit, was so heart breaking. I’ve actually seen it happen to other folks smaller than me, but they have big thighs and a big rear. After that experience in 2019, I said, never again! So I lost some weight and I fit on Diamondback, Orion, and Mako last year. Still those restraints are not comfortable to me. I know they’re not there for my comfort, but for safety.

The 70-degree drop on Balder was pretty good, and the intensity was moderate. For being such a short ride, it definitely packs a punch. While I don't have that many coasters on my list, I would definitely say that Thundercoaster over at Tusenfryd (Norway) is a much more intense ride. With 79 credits, my ranking is going to be very weird. Most manufacturers on this list can and will change drastically in the future. 10. Maurer Rides (Coasters ridden: 2) - This is a weird spot as the only standout here is Rip Ride Rockit, which ranks #23. However, the other manufacturers' standouts rank lower, while the ones with more coasters all those coasters rank low. This spot will definitely be given away soon to Gravity Group, PTC, or Schwarzkopf. Other coasters: Go Bananas! 9. Premier Rides (Coasters ridden: 2) - I love launch coasters, so I look forward to riding more from Premier, including the new Ice Breaker coming soon. So far, I've ridden Revenge of the Mummy and Tigris, which are both in my top 30. 8. Great Coasters International (GCI) (Coasters ridden: 2) - The manufacturer of the coaster that started my love for them: White Lightning, my original favorite coaster. It has since fallen to a respectable #14, with Thunderhead barely ahead at #13. 7. Arrow Dynamics (Coasters ridden: 6) - I have a growing respect for Arrow. I enjoy all 6 of the ones I've ridden so far, with the standouts being Space Mountain and Tennessee Tornado (you can argue that the Disney ones shouldn't count if you want). I have enjoyed the mine trains by them I've ridden so far (Carolina Cyclone and Dahlonega). I look forward to riding their suspended model, as well as Gemini and Magnum (and X2 if I ever get there). Other coasters: Carolina Cyclone, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. 6. Gerstlauer (Coasters ridden: 3) - The types of rides Gerstlauer makes has me interested. So far, the 3 I've ridden have all been very good rides, with Mystery Mine at #11, Dare Devil Dive in my top 30, and FireChaser Express not much further. 5. Mack Rides (Coasters ridden: 6) - I am very interested on what Mack has in store for us in the future. Copperhead Strike ranks #10 on my list. Journey to Atlantis is in my top 30. The others I've ridden are ranked lower, but they were still good rides, and I look forward to seeing more of these pop up in the US. Dollywood extreme spinner 2022? Other coasters: Slinky Dog Dash, Sand Serpent, Cobra's Curse, Great Lego Race. 4. Intamin (Coasters ridden: 3) - I've only scratched the surface as to the great Intamins out there, and I only expect them to rank higher in the future. One Intamin is in my top 10 at #7 (Hagrid's) and another in my top 15 (Cheetah Hunt). Escape from Gringotts is the only other one I've ridden. Really looking forward to riding VelociCoaster, Pantheon, and other Intamins further away from me in the future. 3. Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) (Coasters ridden: 2) - I've only ridden 2 RMCs so far, but they were so good. My opinion of them will rise as I get to ride more of them in the future. I hope to ride Storm Chaser soon as well as Iron Gwazi and Fun Spot Atlanta's RMC when they open, and hopefully an RMC Cheetah. 👀 The two RMCs I've ridden rank at #2 (Lightning Rod) and #8 (Twisted Cyclone). 2. Vekoma (Coasters ridden: 16) - The manufacturer with the most coasters I've ridden from takes #2. Many of these are family coasters, but their standouts are really good, and it's the quantity of the others that lets Vekoma take #2, though another RMC and it'll be higher. There are no Vekomas in my top 10, but my top 20 has 3 (Expedition Everest, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Nighthawk). I know the Disney coasters are mostly created by the Imagineers, but Vekoma still manufactured them. I have ridden 2 boomerangs (Boomerang at Wild Adventures and Flying Cobras) and 1 SLC (Twisted Typhoon) by them so far, and they were actually really fun. I'd also like to mention the coaster I've ridden the most times, Freedom Flyer, an SFC, currently at #49. Other coasters: Dragon, Swamp Thing, Flying School, Outpost Express, Barnstormer, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Flight of the Hippogriff, Dragonflier, Blue Hawk. 1. Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) (Coasters ridden: 15) - At this point, it's no contest. Compared to other manufacturers (excluding Vekoma), I have ridden many more B&Ms. They make some incredible rides, especially their hypercoasters, which make up 4 of my top 5 (Fury, which is #1, Goliath, Intimidator, Mako) as well as 2 others (Manta and Incredible Hulk) in my top 10. Even my least favorite B&M, Vortex, at #48, is still a decent ride (minus the moderate headbanging). Some run rough with a rattle after some time, but most are very smooth, at least in the front. Intamin and RMC have a great chance at taking #1 in the future, but right now it isn't even close. Other coasters: Kumba, Montu, Kraken, Wild Eagle, Batman The Ride, Superman Ultimate Flight, Scorcher, Afterburn.

For the coaster addict, RMC all the way. Absolutely. However, if my livelihood is dependant on the coaster's capacity and uptime, butts in the seats again and again without the rider feeling fatigued, I am not buying anything but an B&M, the "Toyota" of coaster manufacturers. The only one I have seen that has issues is Gatekeeper at Cedar Point which believe has had the lift chain fail more than once. Beyond that, B&M's do nothing but run and are designed at extra cost to ensure a higher capacity with the stop zone setup. They are less intense which makes them reridable, even by the GP. Much of the observation of B&M's not being popular is how sometimes the lines are relatively short but I believe this is a result of how quickly rideops can move the three trains along on a typical B&M. I also only have to train my staff once. If you can operate one B&M you can operate them all.

Just rode Candymonium at Hershey Park last week and it was the smoothest coaster I've ever been on. Really enjoyed it, pretty much the hyper equivalent to fury 325, it's probably my top ride in the park

Trust me here in Europe, gerslauer is a top three manufacturer and are most definitely NOT overrated here especially with rides like saw the ride, karnan, fluk von novgorod and the smiler all of which I can say from experience (and rage at adventure pier)

I can with 100% confidence say that F.L.Y alone could be reason enough for Chris to put Vekoma in the Top 10. I really hope he gets the chance to ride it ASAP.

I knew that RMC would come out on top. All of their American Creations are in your top 50 (I dont know about jersey devil) so it was a easy pick! The two RMC’s that ive ridden are Lightning Rod and Twisted Cyclone, and both are in my top 10. Keep it up Chris!

I know you ranked this based on a POV from the US but I miss S&S (Eejanaika and Do-Dodonpa) and Vekoma (Abyssus and Lech Coaster) on this list. And I would have put Mack Rides and Gerstlauer higher up.

Love your videos. I think its all in the eye of Beholder, I like Arrow the most, then B&M, CCI, and GCI. I kinda have a special spot for CCI as the ONLY coaster my wife has ridden ( she grew up in the south of France, no coasters there ) that she actually liked was Hoosier Hurricane which was a CCI ( had no Interest in Cornball ), she rode that thing like 11 times in a Row, so for me its CCI despite it not being my faves. Love your list tho, its really good

My top 6: 6) GCI 5) CCI 4) Gravity Group 3) B&M 2) RMC 1) Intamin
Putting Arrow at 5 has done my head in. I mean I love X as much as the next guy (I rode it before and after the changes and I will always call it just X), but Magnum is severely overrated and ALL their other hypers are duds. All. Their loopers are almost 100% bad except for Tennessee Tornado. If anything, the best thing they ever did was suspended coasters, that's for sure. I'd take Mack over Arrow any day, but I do understand you are only going by American rides, so, fair enough to ya.

@@AirtimeThrills I am at 503 coasters so I consider myself an enthusiast, and Magnum is "ok" in the front seat, only because of the return run, but I mean overrated when I see how high it places vs much, much better coasters. In the back, even in 2001, it was awful and had no airtime at all. But thankfully no where near as rough as Desperado. Of course this is all just subjective opinion and I respect yours also.

I like Arrow and Schwarzkopf more than Intamin. The Coaster 'Tornado' in Salitre Magico, Bogota is just really good! It's glass smooth and it's the park's most recent installation. But, this coaster was built in 1983! This also happened with 'Montaña Rusa' (Also in Salitre) is an Arrow corkscrew. Really good coaster, if you ask me. I found it to be really enjoyable. This is not the case with Velocicoaster (Islands of Adventure.) I found it to be rough. So rough that I wanted to throw up. The worst part (for me) was the 2nd launch. I HATE it. It's rough, it's just painful. I live in Colombia, so your opinions may differ.
