Good to see the “angry Black guy” commercial. Reminds me of the old days when your videos were full of Japanese gaming commercials. I think the Super Mario World one is still stuck in my brain.

Yeah, I've used the commercial gimmick much more sparingly these days, it was "borrowed" by a few people so I mostly dropped it

I can't say that I've tried any of these, but was looking through my Saga CD ROMs folder as you were going along, and saw I have all of them, so can give them a try. My dad had a Sega CD that I played some games on too when I was a little girl. Some of the ones I liked, Night Trap mostly get a kick out of the cheesy acting and theme song that gets stuck in your head. Also liked Dracula Unleashed, Time Gal, Rise of the Dragon, and I'm going to say WWF Rage in the Cage with saying that I liked it then, but I had sense replayed it, and didn't think it held up good today. Anyways, enjoyed this video. Thank you.

wall-to-wall bangers without a doubt! we picked up a genesis 2 this month and a SEGA CD unit is definitely next at some point in the future. so while I might have to go the repro route for some of these they'll definitely have a home in my collection as soon as possible. I think one of my favorite SEGA CD games was AD&D: Eye of the Beholder, a dungeon crawler set in the DND universe based on the PC game series! although this one was composed by Yuzo Koshiro so if nothing else it had an amazing soundtrack.

I’m here because of the “In case you missed it” community post.. idk why KZitem does this 🤦♂️. I scrolled through my notifications and saw nothing! And I’ve had them turned on for the channel for years. Whatever, I’m here now and this video rocks.

As for my top 5 favorite games on the Sega CD..... 5) Soulstar (Who knew Sega does with the amazing 3D visuals what Nintendon't) 4) The Terminator (The GOAT Terminator video game next to the one developed by Sunsoft on the NES) 3) Android Assault (One of the most metal as fuck shmups, especially for the Obari as fuck mecha designs) 2) Silpheed (Again, Sega does what Nintendon't) 1) Snatcher (The best Hideo Kojima game next to Policenauts)

I had the Sega CD as a kid, but only had a couple of games for it, including the god-awful Sewer Shark 🤮. The only games I liked at the time were Ecco the Dolphin and Jurassic Park, but I really wanted the Lunar and Shining Force games. I never got them though and ended up selling the console to buy some N64 games. Now as an adult the console has little interest for me. It only has about a dozen games or so that I'm actually interested in playing and they're all horribly expensive.

You like to listen to rock music with heavy metal. It sounds cool. And yes, I know you told me the other day that I have to tell you to stop listening to K-pop. I'll stop telling you to listen to K-pop, c-pop, and j-pop. I know you're not interested in three of those music genres. I don't want to be rude to anyone or everyone in this world.

The Sega CD is definitely a bit of a hidden gem. I'd love to pick one up but the prices are ridiculous at the moment. A friend of mine had one back in the day and the only game I remember playing on it was Rise of the Dragon. We were too young to figure out what to do, but I remember being blown away by the visuals and the fact that it had voice acting. I really hope Sega CD support gets added to SGDK so that modern indies can start making new games for it more easily. I've got a feeling the hardware never reached its potential.

Sega cd is an awesome retro gaming system. All of the classic games are so cool and unstoppable. Sega cd is the same as sega Genesis and mega drive. Sega Genesis was released in North America and South America. Mega drive was released in Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania. I gotta say sega cd games are kick ass!
