I really appreciate that not every game on this list is a $200 big box game. The smaller games appeal to me because they are more affordable, generally play quicker, are easier to learn, and are portable. I'm looking forward to 20 Strong when it is available. I think I will pick up a Button Shy game, for Northwood, and Under Falling Skies from your list here. Another great video, thanks!

Interesting. I’ve been two-handing games for years as a way to play solo, and I cannot express the extent to which I DESPISE Mage Knights! To me, it’s a soulless, dead-eyed algorithm reskinned with the most generic of fantasy cliches. It killed Eurogames for years for me. Thankfully, now that I’m soloing Empires of the Void 2, I’m back in love with Eurogame mechanics again.

Great picks and going to review those that I haven't really dug into prior. Most recently I picked up Dorfromantik at Gen Con and that one has been swallowing up my solo time. One of those games that notes could be played at 6 but feel like it works best at 1 (removing that possible alpha player) and at best something to play along with my kiddos. It opens up more to the game for each iteration and grows very well. Thanks for the list!

You're not going to believe this dude, but I tried several times and Facebook wouldn't let me share this video. They said it violated their rules. I had no problems sharing it on Twitter though. When I shared it I pasted in a what I wrote to the public on Facebook, about my attempt to share this video. I thought you might like to read it so I pasted it below. BTW GREAT VIDEO!! QUOTE: You're not going to believe this folks but the first 3 or 4 times I tried to share this video here, Facebook wouldn't let me. They said this video of a guy giving his opinion of what he thought was the top 10 solo games of all time went against their rules, or something like that. They were board games! There was no copyright, all of them he owned, he was giving his opinion of solo board games he thought was best. There was no violence, no hatred, he didn't even say one swear word. PERHAPS FACEBOOK'S FAVORITE DIDN'T MAKE THE LIST. WELL SORRY FACEBOOK, I KNOW YOU LIKE PLAYING GAMES WITH US BUT YOU DON'T QUALIFY AS A SOLO BOARD GAME!!!! So, I'm going to share it this way, and see if this works. I'm going to put a link in here to his KZitem channel. Then I'll give you the title of the video I attempted to share with you. When you go to his channel look for the title or copy and paste it in the search bar of his channel and it will come up. Then you can decide for yourself if the video violated any of Facebook's rules. The name of his channel is: BoardGameCo www.youtube.com/@BoardGameCo Name of the video to look for is: Top 10 Solo Games of All Time I already contacted Facebook when they said I couldn't share it because the video violated their rules. I would appreciate it if you too will attempt to share it here after watching it. And if Facebook doesn't let you, there is an option to give feedback if you think they've made a mistake. Click that, provide link to the video you were trying to share, and politely, without using foul language tell them WHY you think they're wrong not to allow the video to be shared on Facebook. I know it will be hard, but please try to resist the temptation to call them idiots. Thank you. Now I'm going to go share this on Twitter, and I bet I won't have any trouble doing so!!

Maybe once I play enough of the 20 Strong decks I'll give it a shot. While I have your attention, have you given Choose Your Own Adventure: House of Danger a try? I played through it a couple months ago and had a good time with it, although there's not much in terms of replayability once you reach the ending.
