Living in Minneapolis, during the George Floyd riots, about two weeks into the situation with the daily update from the mayor's office, the roving gangs tearing up the town, the protesters (some carrying picket signs), then reports of "white supremacists" coming to the town from out of state, a constant buzzing of national guard choppers flying above, briefings from the governor and the national guard commander, the nat guard I'm like this isn't the twin shitties, THIS IS FUCKING SOUTH PARK!!! And, what set it off for me, what triggered this for me was this caravan of national guard vehicles that came down Lake st. (the epicenter of the detruction) there were these humvees and they were about the length of an average mid -size family sedan (circa:1970) but they were like two freaking stories tall with the driver up on the second level(if I remember right) either way, my first thought was that looked like something straight out of SOUTH PARK, which they did, after that, the picture just came together for me...

That's the first time I've ever heard Kyle's speech in the episode 201. I watched it when it aired (which was both the first and last time it would ever air), and CC bleeped out Kyle's entire speech. At first I thought it was a joke for Kyle's entire speech about what he learned to be censored, but later found out that Kyle did indeed have an actual speech. Apparently it hit a little too close to home for CC.

People were ok with it before, but not now, it shows a clear shift in the political balance. Firstly we have a balance in the western world shifting in favour of left views, the views being that governing bodies of power NEED to control speech and artistic expression in order to bolster the moral foundation of their society. And a shift in the Islamic world backwards from human rights where acts of subjugation through violence are increasingly more acceptable. This power imbalance also allows China to influence schools and governments even in my country when due to covid we closed the borders but the universities wanted to open the border early to get Chinese students back in the country. What is morally right and what is morally wrong is being skewed left in the west and right in the east in a way that allows these forces to influence each other in a way that's far more beneficial to the right and it's unsettling. Trump as president was a grasp to bring power back to the people and take it away from these large entities who are flushing our rights away only Trump has shown himself to be the most tyrannical president in U.S. history by destabilizing trust of the press, spreading massive amounts of misinformation and frankly just lying to the people and of course lately abandoning any responsibility when it comes to race relations and the ongoing black lives matter crisis. So that plan backfired. But you get my point, Islam is able to bully freedom of speech and artistic expression because governments and companies are scared of the backlash now more than ever. Muslims know this and it's a grand tool in virtually all religious debates about the physical freedoms of women, homosexuality and of course the freedom of religion and atheism. The left tells us that it's "radical" Islam fueling this heinous behavior but all you have to do is look at where "radical Islam" comes from and how prevalent it actually is and you can see the problem is being far to understated by the companies and governments who want to maintain power and profit. The answer to this problem however is not to get angry at Muslim people, as easy as that would be, because in a free, democratic nation all people are free to practice their faith or lack there of. Who we should get angry at are the people in our own political system who would sacrifice our freedoms in order to support something we the people already deem immoral. And the perfect example of that is the immoral act of censoring free speech in response to the immoral act of threatening violence and in cases we can cite actually carrying out acts of violence and murder.
