Lol!! I'm sitting here watching you and chuckling because i have one working arm not my dominate one either, figures, eh?Stroke 10 plus years ago.But I try to do what I can like type with one hand. Paint, Stamping, tea dying paper, beading, I guess I either like the challenge or getting really frustrated/disappointed. Lol gotta keep busy while I work in P.T. RIGHT!? You are really good at what you do! Onward!!

Although I live in a major city, it's been almost impossible to find a resource to teach me what I've needed to create jewelry. But in this video, you explained and demonstrated so much of what I've been needing!! My goal is to create beautiful pieces to gift and to sell and now that I've discovered you, I finally feel a sense of peace going forward. Thank you SOOOO MUCH!!!!! Looking forward to getting your kits, too!

What a helpful video for beginner beaders. TIP: When cutting multiple lengths of chain, try putting a head pin through the first link of each length and then either hold up or drag along the mat to make them even. You can then easily see which link to cut to make all the strands the same length. I always enjoy your videos. Best wishes from Buckinghamshire, UK. Sue Q.

I made and sold jewelry for about 13 years and then gave it up. I had to watch your video anyway just because it's you Lindsay. This is just vital information for the beginner. I wish I would have had you around when I started out. I bounced around finding a little bit here and a little bit there. Potential beaders should file this in their favorites. Thank you as always.

When cutting chain. Cut 1st piece of chain on hang it on a head pin. Hang the remaining chain on the same he adpin and put the close hold the headpin horizontal and using your nippers nip it off at the bottom by eyeballing the length is the same!

I took a beading class locally; but, the shop where I took it has closed. The owners wanted to retire and couldn't find anybody interested in buying the store. Sometimes I have trouble seeing the tiny details; but, I did find this video helpful as a refresher. I do not have crimping pliers; but, the times that I used my flat nosed pliers for crimping, the bead crimped as if it were crimped with crimping pliers.

when cutting the chain as you do, use a straight pin and put the pin in 1st loops and into cardboard then you can put a bit of tension and use wire cutter, less chance of putting a bend in the last loop of cut chain
