Thanks Coop, I never hear anything about these nicely designed handles and bars from Trak Fitness kzitem.info/news/bejne/qm2PqYaXiX99e3o The handle floats, giving a lot of range of motion to your hands during the lift. This would help with wrist strain and provide a lot of grip variation. I assume the company is still in business.

Fantastic video. I’m becoming an obsessive collector of cable attachments, and this is my favorite GGR video so far. I wish you had mentioned IPR Fitness attachments. Their build quality is top-notch, I’ve gotten excellent service from the company, and they manufacture in the USA, which I know you care about. I especially like their Hex Handles; I find the grip very comfortable. Their foot and ankle straps are also excellent. I agree about the Prime KAZ handles: pricey but great. You introduced several attachments I wasn’t familiar with. Time to get that credit card out....

Enjoy these kinds of videos. I actually have a few of the ones you showed in the video. I bought everything prior to the Ares system arriving. Kaz Handles - Love them. They have many many uses. Prime Fitness ROT8 handles - also love them. They've been perfect when doing Lat Pulldowns and a few other exercises. Back Widow - bought it after watching your review. I like multifunction gym equipment. The only thing I don't like is adjusting the handles can be a bit cumbersome. I also have a pair of EliteFTS 3" muscle maces. Great for tricep and bicep exercises. I think what I have covers what I need. I've looked at that the Angles90 handles. But I think the Kaz handles do enough to where I don't need the Angles90 handles. I might also add the Spud long ab strap and the All Action Harness.

Coop, I would very much like to see you do a series on adaptive equipment for disabled lifters. There really isn't any good comparative testing of adaptive lifting equipment out there. As a quadriplegic with a very limited budget trial and error testing to find equipment that works & will last more than a month, it is not feasible. Test various grip aids that don't require any help on the user to work like lifting hooks or active hands.

Just over 5k for me. Have about 700 lbs in plates (mix between cheap ones and quality ones), adj dumbbells to 57.5, rubber flooring, flat bench, incline/decline bench with cable attachments for leg extensions/curls, a few prime fitness attachments (3 right now, love them), two barbells, all-in-one trainer that has half rack/smith/cables, treadmill, and exercise bike. Still want bumper plates but slowly swapping out my crappy plates for nice plates (weigh it out has been my jam. Already love the 3 sets of plates I got from them). Other than that, not much else I really need right now. Plenty that I want though lol. I can do most exercises I went to the gym for and my wife and kids come workout with me now (always paid gym memberships for them and they hardly went. Now they come out all the time!) Shop those deals when they come around. Scored my all in one trainer with barbell and benches for $2700 shipped. Used discount codes comboed with Black Friday deals and such for other items as they popped up. Rubber flooring was probably the only other item that was super expensive. Got cheap prices on the actual material but shipping was as expensive as the material lol. Could’ve gone stall mats but I like the gym rubberflooring with specks in it better and was worth the extra money at the time. Gym membership for the family was $80 a month. Break even is around 5-6 years on my home gym. Worth every penny so far. Love working out at home with my family. Seems like a lot at first glance but honestly, investing in a home gym is totally worth it. Now, if you like all the high end fancy equipment like coop does or lift super heavy all the time; probably better to stay in a gym as the heavier the weight, the more expensive a home gym will be. My all in one maxes at 770 lb on the smith and 990 lbs on the rack. I can fit 360 lbs of real feel weight on the cable machines (plate loaded 2:1 ratio, actual 720 lbs on the horns) but not sure the weight limit on the plate horns. For me, the machine handles plenty of weight for the exercise I need it to do. You can spend more for weight stack machine and have the convenience of push pin operation, but I for a roughly 2-3k difference in price, not likely worth it imo.
