For anyone who is into natural history, I would strongly recommend the three museums in the Jardin des Plantes. The modern Grand Gallery of Evolution is a world-class modern natural history museum, but I really love the old Gallery of Paleontology and Comparative Anatomy, which is an amazing experience. And for art, I also really love the Musée Rodin.

Hi, Frenchie here. IMO one of the hidden gems of Paris would be the Buttes-Chaumont park. It's located northeastern, not the most touristic part of the city, but an amazing park for sure. You can even find cascades there!

Frenchies spot on as usual. Great list and love the commentary on nearby places to eat and metro stops. Only must see site I would add is Musee Rodin. Love the grounds. Latin quarter is still my favorite neighborhood to explore especially in the evening. We have seen all these sites other than the catacombs and been to Paris multiple times. You vlog is so spot on and can help anxious first timers immensely as well as return guests as you usually see some of the same sites again but you advise also how to possibly see them better such as with guides and skip the lines. I enjoy your recommendations on the places to eat but not that concerned either as I consider it part of the experience in exploring and finding another great restaurant. Everyone has their lists. The ambiance in Paris is just so amazing that it pulls you back like a magnet many times. Your videos only scratch the surface but it really provides great guidance to those going to Paris to see the sites. Merci. Oh we usually use the metro to get around at least to a few stops and walk a great deal, usually 6 miles or so a day. Never under estimate that one must wear comfortable shoes and ignory Emily in Paris as you noted on one of your other videos. Merci

I traveled to Paris in October 2019 and did about 95% of these. I barely took a train. I stayed in Le Marais area. Was within walking distance to everything. Everything pretty much was within an hour walk from my hotel. Half of these within 30 minutes. I recommend the scenic route and walking everywhere but that's my New York brain. The trains are really good in Paris too. So much better than the MTA in nyc.

Love that you provide the metro stop too! Some of my favorites for sure but as we know Paris has so many sights to see that everyone has their own lists of top spots as peoples preferences differ so much but you certainly nailed most of them. Love also that you pointed out restaurants to visit at those spots. Always confusing with so many options as to which establishment to go to, however that is also part of the fun.

This is my personal opinion. I suggest all the visitors to visit “Musée Rodin” and “Musée Picasso “ on the list. Musée Rodin is very charming with a beautiful garden outside. After visiting the museum you can stroll in the garden to relax . Picasso museum is in a trendy district called Le Marais. In Le Marais, there are a lot of bars and restaurants where the locals dining. It’s fun to watch the locals activities in this district, especially the young people. It’s a place locals come to socialize and have fun with friends.

Awesome! Love your vlogs. As mentioned before - we had to cancel our Paris trip in 2020 due to the pandemic. We plan to visit in 2023. Initially we had a hotel booking in Montmartre. But I think in 2023 we will rather look at places close to the Notre Dame - being more central. But we also need to have a look at our budget with our exchange rate in South Africa.
