1. ACROPOLE WITH PARTHENON, and in general, the Acropolis hill of Athens is the most famous attraction of the Greek capital, it is visited by everyone while in Athens. It has many nearby monuments, including the Theater of Dionysus, Odeon of Herod Attic, Temple of Athena Nike, Propylaea, Erechtheum and many others.
2. ACROPOLIS MUSEUM - complements the visit to the famous hill. The museum is a contemporary work of architecture made of glass, steel and concrete, which in itself makes a great impression. On the upper floor there is a restaurant where you can admire the view of the Acropolis.
3. HADRIAN'S ARCH and TEMPLE OF OLYMPIC ZEUS - was erected for Emperor Hadrian from the city's inhabitants as a sign of gratitude, because during his reign, Athens experienced a re-flourishing.

THE HILL OF PHILOPAPPOSIS is located close to the Acropolis, from where there is a majestic view of the Acropolis hill in full splendor, and at the very top there is a monumental tombstone monument to Philopappos, a Syrian prince who deserved to be called a benefactor of the city. At the very bottom of the hill there is the "prison of Socrates".

We can get there by our own transport, and the last few hundred meters can be reached on foot or by cable car.
