The Aaron's 499 win at Dega in 04 is one of my favorites. Simply because I am a JG fan from Bama, I watched it live, and I love all of the salty ass Jr. fans who were upset.

1994 is a little before my time, as it is literally the year I was born... But Jeff Gordon is absolutely my all time favorite driver in Motorsports. And I always find myself wondering if the people who witnessed Jeff’s early years knew they were witnessing something special in the making.

I think a cool win from Jeff Gordon was 2005 Martinsville spring race when he was 3-4 laps down and came back. Hard to do on a short track.

Up on that high side ! Maybe could be the goat of our time! Top ten in 30/36 races one year and still lost to that 48. Gordon was better in his older years than Jimmy in his late years. Gordon better qualifier, big picture racer. Jimmy's best teacher, owner, teammate, and friend got him started on a real team... he told papa Rick.. hey let's try this kid out.

Gordon will always be my favorite and most dominant in the modern era. I can’t blame Johnson for not always being a great teammate since if you aren’t first you’re last, but I don’t think Johnson ever dominated the way Gordon (And Earnhardt for that matter) did

I honestly cannot blame you either. NASCAR has been horrendously deteriorating year by year and it's only a matter of time until the worst form of racing ever will unfold in 2019 since they practically made every race on schedule 'Kentucky'. NASCAR is so pathetic nowadays. Jimmie Johnson retiring will be the coup de grate for me.

Or the 1998 Southern 500, wins his fourth Southern 500 in a row and his 6th win in 7 races. 1998 Pepsi 400 Daytona was also an amazing win. Way too many races from his late career that didn't mean much IMO.

i know the race well, gordon on the long run had a bad fast car and with about 12 to go go into kenseth off of turn two, though jeff claimed he simply got into matt on accident we all know it was because matt spun jeff ealier that year when matt spun jeff on the last lap at bristol in turns 1 and two racing for third. matt had been leading that race but got nudged by kurt b. and was drifting back.. im a nascar nut,,, any more questions? @@SpaceMetalFerrari248
