It would've been nice if Malaysia also takes part in the World Cup of Pool... Someday, someday! 😭

I don't know what the story is with Malaysia but I know China and other Asian countries didnt want to play due to covid restrictions. Usually China has one of 2 decent teams to go to the world cup so it was surprising not seeing them participate. Hopefully in a couple of years we will see the full lineup once again!

A lot of these are actually flukes that led to them being snookered. In 9 ball where only the last shot matter, those shots should be considered terrible shots instead

@@Michael____Goodman never said it didn’t take any skill, I definitely think it takes less skill than kicking and it makes position play far less important if you can just always hop over a ball.

OK boomer me all you like but jesus when did Efren Reyes EVER resort to a jump shot? They aint necessary, they screw up position, and they always SEEM to be "the best shot"

You do know he used them a lot right? There's even a video on this channel where Rollie (the dude who does all the pro shots) attempts efrens jump shot that fluked the 9 and there's a bunch of old clips of him using jumps to make balls hop over others (this is also a trick used by other pros like Pagulayan and Corey Deuel who both played with/against efren at different points in time) also players like Earl Strickland (who litterally hated jump cues) do jump shots, they've been used since 1908 and nothing will change their beauty in the game

These big pockets are so flattering to the players, would like to see English pool tables used.

Not sure what you mean by English pool tables seeing as these are worldwide standard tables, if you're talking about a snooker table that's way bigger and wider with small pockets because it also has way more balls and all the balls are smaller than pool balls making them actually pottable. Only place that manufactures pool tables with thinner pockets is Australia and we'd never switch to their speed tables because they don't have good cussions as they're made to have a rack ran in under a minute hence their bad qualities and shorter length. If you're thinking of something else I'd love to hear it, but pretty sure you've crossed sports

@@uno-theofficialcardgamebyMatel countries have different variations of pool. English pool is played on a smaller table with tighter pockets and yellow and red colored balls. Wouldn’t say it is harder than regular pool though. I’m from Portugal and we have our variation too. Players here normally play both Portuguese pool and pool, but they are different things.

Because the obstacle balls were so close to the cue ball. It would have been extremely easy to foul by having the cue touch one of the other balls. It was an extreme precision shot played with position.

@@dylandillpickles910 Ok, right, but he only had to put a little bit of topspin and just roll the ball forward. Even for a position shot, it doesn't seem one of the hardest shots. This shot just looks like a routine shot for any professional.
