I started bass fishing again 2 years ago after 10 years of just fishing for trout, catfish, and bluegill. My passion came back quickly and my 17 yr old son has the same passion! Simply Fantastically Simple 3 Baits; a few colors for each, equipment required; location, depth, water temperature, water clarity, weather conditions = catching fish A lifetime of knowledge in less that 13 minutes! Amazing! Mr. Evers, thank you for what you do. Thank you for keeping it simple.

Edwin, I love how easy it is to watch your videos. I watch quite of few other fishermen and I often have to go back and relisten because I start tuning out. However with yours you keep it very entertaining and informative.

I appreciate these videos. I kayak fished small lakes, ponds, strip pits in OKlahoma for the last 20 years. Turned 61 and bought my first bass boat last year. The advice from a few anglers I trust is helping with the transition.

The way you use real life examples of which baits you have caught fish on or won tournaments on really helps. I used to get mindset that bass are still deep in February but the 3 baits you showed in this video reminded me that I have caught plenty of bass in 3’ of water this time of year. Especially around Valentines Day. Lakes I fish in February are Conroe, Livingston, Rayburn.

I have always been a light line and spinning reel type of guy fishing skinny rivers for smallies and the few green fish that are around. In the last few years I have gotten into power fishing a lot more and having these tips on what types of baits and how to work them for different water than what most think each one is for has been a game changer no questions asked! I use Flukes for jerk baits putting a progressively heaver swivel 14" ahead of the Fluke to make them run deeper. I use Flukes on Carolina Rigs too. Jerking the Fluke in the tops of trees at Lake Fork has worked well too.

I love your videos. Ive only been fishing for 2 1/2 years now. Im actually doing pretty good, I think. My PB right now is 4.8 lbs. My boyfriend got me into fishing. Now I’m addicted. I really get great and useful information from your videos. I love that you talk with your hands. I do the same thing. 😂😂 Seriously, I think you’re a great angler. Another great video. Growing up as a purely bank fisherman I am playing a lot of catch up. Getting on the lake now that I have a boat has opened up so much more to learn about fishing. It'd be great to have you do a video on all the various types of crankbaits and their advantages/disadvantages.

Really enjoy the content and info. My dad was an amazing bass fisherman and sadly I didn’t take interest in fishing until after he passed from cancer. Guys like you have been a huge help trying to hone in on these bass and reconnect with my dad a lil bit! Still trying to beat his personal best ! Had huge success last month with jerkbaits and I never thought I would have been able to succeed with something like that in this cold weather in South Carolina.
