Can you please add a disclaimer to your videos, clearing up it's just the advice for bodybuilding and aesthetics, or whatever it is that you're going for. Saying "don't train your obliques" to general audience is kinda dumb, not everyone is chasing v-taper. Also, being aesthetics doesn't really help when a dude with developed core can break you in half.

I don't think there's any muscle in your body that is lame or boring. The more muscles you train the more complete your strength will be. In the end for most people having a strong and healthy body far outweighs looking a certain way. Your body gets stronger, your mind gets stronger, your mood improves your confidence grows, cortisol remains at minimum levels. If you focus on looking a certain way, skipping body parts, you are missing out on the mood/confidence gains

Think about the position they put your shoulders in vs the position we insist people avoid during pressing exercises. There’s no rule that the decline has to be steep nor that you actually need to be on a physical decline to rep the benefits. Simply, contracting your pecs in a more declined position (so even just positioning your body relative to a machine) is optimal. That’s why no matter what position you’re pushing in (incline, flat etc.) you’re always declining your position and pushing your pecs out….because the declining itself is what works your pecs more because the pec brings the arm across and much more down than up. An incline angle brings the shoulders higher as you lift the weight which is not a major pec function at all. That’s why incline really only makes sense if you have good chest genetics and want to bias the upper shelf at sub-optimal levels because you don’t need to bother with any further general chest development. People opt for incline out of this lower boob fear but end up with minimal chest development in general because incline pressing is working even your upper pecs sub-optimally. And you’ll never meet a guy in the gym with overdeveloped lower man boobs that has done too much decline pressing because it literally doesn’t exist. All of this stems from fairytale bro think based around “wherever the bar is, that’s where you’re working” when in reality, your muscles attach at certain places and stretch/contract according to the lengthening and shortening of those muscles, not arbitrarily based on where a bar is placed.

"You can do side bends or sit-ups, but please don't lose that butt..." Seriously though, side bends are pointless, but only because deadlifts, squats, etc. will naturally work your obliques as you stabilize the weight. It's nonsense to deliberately omit muscles from your routine.

I agree with sidebends, but not your reasoning. Sidebends are just a poor exercise and generally cannot be loaded in a healthy way to actually train the obliques and mess up the back. Training your obliques is necessary for some beginners, as they are typically underdeveloped, and they won't ruin your vtaper unless you spam it. As for decline bench, it's not a terrible exercise, but it certainly isn't the best. Traps are a personal preference, I think underdeveloped traps can look almost as bad as overdeveloped traps.

V tapers are honestly overrated as fuck in the fitness space these days and its getting hell of annoying how everyone is fucking trying to get men to delete their waste over this stupid insecurity. No woman is going to look at a shredded fitness model physique with a wide and muscular back, lean shredded abs, strong arms and capped delts and go "ummmm sorry but his waist is just a little bit too big from behind which ruins his v taper so I'm gonna pass" like come tf on its stupid. Just train to make everything proportionally muscular and get lean and you're fucking set, easy.

traps play an important role in injury prevention because strong traps better absorb blows to the shoulder area in contact sports from a physique standpoint, they do look good if toned up. most muscles overdeveloped don’t look as aesthetic but traps are good to build

99% of men aren’t taking head on blows to the shoulder area and don’t need big traps for the sake of “injury prevention” lol. You’re talking about sports and injury prevention, while this video is simply about aesthetics and looking as attractive as possible.

@@geoffreylincicome7298 Even from an aesthetic standpoint he is completely wrong, traps play a big part in making your shoulders and upper body look more prominent if you're natty and getting them to a decent size creates the illusion of your neck being wider and makes you look more intimidating. Cool! anyway, here is the recipie for brownies! 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter 2 cups granulated sugar 4 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. If desired, fold in the chopped nuts into the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter). Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. Enjoy your homemade brownies!

1) decline chest press is important exactly for avoiding droopy pecs. Or just do dips, the bodyweight exercise with equivalent movement. 2) side bend is good if used in order to stretch the spine in the lateral plane. Nothing more needs to be said, it's a great exercise for its niche use. 3) shrugs are good for complementing any big compound pull movement. Just no need to overdo it
