That obsession with things coming out of bottom is really annoying. Yes! We know you like it that way. Apart from that, good comparison video.

I'm really impressed by Eureka's home grinder lineup. Excellent build quality and performance at very reasonable prices. The two shown here are among the pricier. I've got my eye on the Mignon Facile. Essentially the same as the Silenzio at under $400. Can't wait to pair it up with my Gaggia Classic Pro.

Hi there, did you get the Facile? I’m considering it too. There’s a lot of grinders out there to pick from and while I really only use single doses for both espresso and pour over the Facile seems great for the price.

I own the rocket faustino. So it does hold rocket portafilters (or at least the double spout one) because on rocket portafilters the spouts are facing the front of the portafilter so they fit snug under the grinder forks

What do you think about the Mazzer Lux D?
@mohannadaljishi7196
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video. I own the Specialita for about 8 months now. I started noticing problems with it when I opened it to clean it. First I thought it was the misalignment and I fixed it but even now, I can only get my 20-25 second extraction when the burrs are touching each other. No one talked about this on KZitem and I don't know if that's normal or not. Where do you get your sweet spot? The local dealer won't look at it as long as it's still grinding and running. So that's useless.

I seem to think that the dial on the Eureka is less than desirable. I have read several comments on that issue. When switching from espresso to course grind, it's hard to keep track of the dialed in grind and get back to espresso. Thoughts?

Eureka specialita or the ORO ? Still deciding
@CoffeePartsTV
2 жыл бұрын
The Oro is a greater machine, yet that doesn't mean you necessarily need it. Realistically, the Specialita is already great, yet really depends the level you want to be at and coffees drinking. If drinking a large content of milk for example, difference between two grinders will become marginal. If drinking espresso from a rotary pump machine, then Oro def better....

No single dosing grinders?
@CoffeePartsTV

Will be covered in a different video, as feel even tho they some single dose are home coffee grinders they sit in a 'specialist' relm which also require different work flow.
@omniryx1

The Specialita makes an excellent single dose grinder. I use it that way every day. Just weigh out your beans, toss them into the empty hopper, and off you go. Unlike the Niche, popcorning is almost nil. I have a Niche and it grinds very well given that it has a conical burr set. Alas, you will ultimately find yourself frustrated by the tiny bean hopper (unless you never, ever want to make a batch brew). This was a foolish design choice that sooner or later Niche will decide to rectify.
@diomedes8791
3 жыл бұрын
@@omniryx1 I own a Niche which came with their anti-popcorning disc. So popcorning has never been an issue for me. And what do you mean Niche will «decide to rectify» their 50g bean reservoir? It is built as a single dosing grinder, and for this reason no larger grinding capacity is deemed necessary. We can only hope that whoever shells out the money to buy a Niche is aware of - and OK with - this fact. If you want more capacity, you fill the reservoir multiple times and grind multiple times. Or you buy a grinder with a hopper. Simple. Did you ever hear Weber, Monolith, Titus, Lagom or other single dosing grinder manufacturers do product recalls and start to retrofit hoppers on their grinders after massive outcries from theor customers? Hasn’t happened.

I own a Eureka grinder and the only complaint I have is its arbitrary dialing system, and you sometimes lose track of how many revolutions it took to get the right grind size for different beans.
@CoffeePartsTV
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for bringing this up, will cover it when we do a full review on each of the Eureka's. In saying that, this can be a pain point when changing the grind from espresso to other brew methods such as filter coffee. Between different beans for the same extraction method the variance should be lower, and hence a smaller move...

I'm super new to coffee, so I'm kind of confused. Are these only espresso grinders or can you use them for drip coffee, moka, Turkish coffee, etc.? It seems like you say "coffee" grinder, but mean "espresso only" grinders. Also, you're not saying the prices which is super important to me. I am looking for a very versatile grinder that can do espresso, drip coffee grinds, etc.
@CoffeePartsTV
2 жыл бұрын
They are all espresso grinders, and all of them can do drip/moka/filter. However, they can't do Turkish which is a lot finer. We have avoided saying prices are we are in Australia and prices do vary around the world. However, you are not the first to mention this so in future videos will most likely mention prices points in AUD and USD to make it a little more comparable.

Which will be better: second hand mazzer mini Electronic A(single dose modded with 233M burs) or Eureka Mignon Zero?
@CoffeePartsTV
Жыл бұрын
Depends on what you are aiming from a grinder. Mazzer grinders are solid, so a second hand unit should be cool, and from a grind perspective a little more consistent. Yet if single dosing the Mignon would be a little better, and also easier to dial in. Either way, both good options.
