It's time that we all get together blacks and whites and realize that we are not the government. the government has taken everything and left us to fight each other for the scraps. The Democrats are the biggest Liars. It was the Republicans who freed the slaves it was the Republicans who gave black men the right to vote even before women. It's all horrible but it didn't happen to any of us. Those of us now have to do something to change things. The Democrats and the Republicans are all liars they all work for themselves and not for us. But we must come together they have divided and conquered us for far too long. @@GoB1996 Huh...coulda swore I posted here...strange that a post talking about propaganda goes missing... (I'm joking, probably just didn't register). Anyway what I said is actually for the time period that was perfectly rational. Newspapers and radios were the primary way prosperous people got their news back then but as many minorities were illiterate and didn't have money for a radio most of the news they got was either disseminated from one of those sources by another or if they were "lucky" maybe they had a radio wherever they happened to work. Now consider that even in the modern age people fall for propaganda whether it be by the government, religious or anything that stands to benefit from your belief. Sure we've learned to be more careful and some are more resistant than others are but at the end of the day EVERYONE can fall for it if it's properly targeted for them. Now strip away your internet, strip away your TV, strip away your education and maybe even strip away your ability to read. The ONLY way you're now getting your information is from a radio or someone who listened to a radio unreliably relating a story. And unlike today there aren't 5000 different channels showing a situation from hundreds of different views. You have ONE source that is telling you ONE thing and was almost certainly not radio free. You and everyone you know is being told the government is doing everything they can to help you and your family no matter what. You are now a believer, because not believing makes you an outcast in an age where there is no contradicting the word of your "superiors". *tl'dr* - It's easy to say how could he have believed them in retrospect. But the real question is how could he NOT have believed them when he and his entire community had no way of learning about the world further than ten miles down the street?

Then, suddenly I heard the name Mark Kilroy and I thought, "No, that can't be the same guy." But they showed his picture and I was just dumbfounded. Later, I saw a book about it so I bought it and started reading it, but I couldn't finish. It was such a senseless murder. As if it wasn’t bad enough studying and not treating people who had contracted syphilis, they did something worse. They deliberately and forcibly infected children with Syphilis , but they thought they could get away with this by going to Guatemala where they somehow got permission to do it to children in an orphanage. They also infected people in a Guatemalan insane asylum and a prison. They infected over 700 Guatemalans. This took place from 1946 to 1948 but was not exposed until 2010 when a journalist was investigating the Tuskegee experiment and found some of the same doctors were involved.

Sounds like stupid logic. 1. Not everybody is the same. 2. Get a second opinion on health matters. Not all doctors will have the same knowledge, let alone level of care. One of my docs is rather friendly as a person but he's not adequate for certain medical cases. He could have lead to the death of 2 people had they not seen another doctor. Doctors are human too, not perfect, and they work for the government in a manner of speaking. Just because there was one shady corporation, doesn't mean they all are. 3. Be responsible, and use your brain. It is not impossible for something bad to happen in any location. These guys weren't too bright, splitting the party in a foreign land, and making assumptions. Had they stayed together, had they gone to look for their friend, had they gone during a time it wasn't so crowded... bit of forethought goes a long way.

My dad grew up in Matamoros and he was a teenager in the 80s, he told me that his neighbor was a woman who invited him to go to a party at a ranch once. My dad never ended up going but had considered it. She turned out to be one of the people in that cult. Gives me the shivers to this day...

That’s wild.. what a small world. Glad your dad’s ok!! What an absolutely heinous way to die.. what monsters! It really makes a person think about how many people they have encountered throughout their lives, that have tried or at least pondered killing them, when you hear these types of stories. I’ve definitely had some very, very disturbing experiences that came eerily close.. too close.. it makes you think, for sure.. Crazy shit...

The Tuskegee Experiment was something I’d been taught at a young age and a huge reason my grandfather and many of my older relatives has a tough time trusting the government or most doctors that they haven’t known for too long. The fact that this is information not widely known always takes me out a bit since always been it’s fairly common knowledge to me. It’s good to remember that this awful “experiment” hasn’t been lost to history.

Very common for men to murder their female partners or ex partners. It's called male violence against women and is not surprising at all. And it does not happen the other way around. The stats of women killing their male partners are extremely low in comparison.

I sustained quite a bit of neck and shoulder damage while I was in the Navy, which resulted in debilitating chronic neck and shoulder pain. It's ruined my life in a lot of ways. Every day I have to spend hours laying in bed to help cope with it. Now I actually look forward to my therapy sessions because of this channel. Thanks for making my prison a lot more entertaining and enjoyable. Keep up the great work, and godspeed brother!

@HavocGamingChannel

@@aphoticjellyfish you have to prove your issues are service related. Unfortunately I can't prove anything, so no, I don't get any reimbursement for my chronic pain. I should've went to the VA hospital while I was in to get any issues on record before leaving the Navy. What's tricky about some chronic pain is that it can take a while to present itself in its full form, so I had no idea the small issues I had then would grow into the issues I have now

Have you looked into having the nerve severed? It's a last ditch solution. But it's easier to get adjusted to not having any feeling at all in that area, than constant pain. In my case my injury cut nerves that never healed right. So I'm numb on part of chest, neck/shoulder and parts of my hand. But it's so much better than constant horrible pain.
