Harajuku is my favorite place. Any time I visit Japan I spend at least a day or two here. How do you guys like this district?

When you say fall, is it just November? We are looking at October but I doubt there will be fall colours by then

It starts in October but it varies depending on the temperatures. Sometimes it starts earlier than others and vice versa. For a rough estimate do a quick Google search for a "fall foliage map of Japan". Because the shape of the country is quite long the colors generally begin earlier in the north and move their way down. You can catch them at various intervals as a result. For reference the last week of October and the first week of November is generally when I prefer to go.

Just booked our first place for the first two nights in Shinjuku for our 2 week stay next month. The final few days after making our way back to Tokyo, we’ll definitely stay in Shibuya. Your videos have really helped us map out our trip! Thank you so much!

My pleasure, glad I can be of service! Have an amazing time! That entire part of Tokyo is very walkable. Shinjuku to Harajuku is about a 40 min walk but you can turn it into a half day exploration passing through the national gardens, and exploring all the little side streets. That is usually how you find the most mind blowing restaurants lol. There are just so many options in that part of the city :).

I will let you know how I like it once I get there in December. I also booked in the districts you recommended in Osaka and Tokyo
