Might I remind you that you had a bottom 3 offensive line, bottom 3 running back room, and the worst pass catching group (WR's/TE's) last year. Guess what you addressed in the draft? You also upgraded your head coach from one of the worst hires in NFL history, to one of the best, proven offensive minds (Dave Canales). Some coaches are different by how they articulate. Canales will bring stability. Eagles fans didn't believe in Hurts after year one. Same thing in Miami and Buffalo. You're in the same boat. At the very least, if he doesn't improve as a player, he will perform significantly better with what's around him. Personally, I've watched him grow up. He has the mental makeup that can take all the criticism, the processing speed to exploit defenses, and one of the most accurate arms, to all levels of the field.

Woa hold on a minute man. You didn’t include Jake Browning I. Your top 40?? You believe that Sam Darnold and Anthony Richardson are better than Jake Brownjng as we sit here right now?? If you believe that Chris you are far more foolish than I thought. Brownjng should have been from 30-32 on your list. Jamie Winston is better than Browning? I think not. The Bengals had a HISTORICALLY hard schedule last year. They had the hardest schedule any team has had since the year 2000. They played 11 playoff teams and 14 teams that finished at .500 or better. Browning went 4-3 last year had 1936 passing yards, 12 tds 7 ints, a 98.3 passer rating and a completion percentage of 71.4, and a QBR of 60.2. It is fucking nuts and ridiculous that you have Jameis Winston, Sam Darnold, and Ryan Tannehill above Browning. Tannehill was aweful last year dude.

Long standing Panthers Fan Here. His Bryce Young take was pure BS. To the point where I lost a ton of respect for Chris Simms because it’s so far from reality. Anyone watching Carolina football last year can tell you Bryce played like his size didn’t matter. His Oline was nearly the worst ranked in the LG, his OC was a first timer who got fired, his HC didn’t know how to call a game and got fired, he is the third most sacked QB since sacks were recorded, he didn’t have a single WR who could separate AND we were the 30th in Run Block Success Rate (per ESPN) so our running game was a non factor. To not mention anything above and say Bryce left “a ton” of plays out there and they had to manage him “so much” is unfiltered BS. I can only conclude that Chris Simms’ take lacked any semblance of reality is because he put Bryce behind CJ because of his size and got a lot of hell for it and now he’s double downing on his original narrative as an F you. This take was wild distortion of reality. You don’t gotta like Bryce because you fear his size but don’t mislead viewers. AlexRollinsNFL did a great video on Bryce titled “The Panthers run ONE play on repeat” that is a far more accurate telling of Carolina and Bryce last year than Chris Simms could ever hope for.
