It was so dry and brittle..but green. Its now gotten more softer. I'm hoping it will grow traps off its leaves. The one trap is toast : ( the plant gets plenty of sun and distilled water underneath. I gave it 2 insects since. I gave it a couple of drops of cold cooked water. I have placed it in water as one of your videos suggests. It's the beginning of winter and I see the one leave and one trap turning black. One other trap is turning yellow. All traps look to be closed now.

Good question! There is no exact rule, but this is what I got ➡️ In terms of heat, vfts will do fine in hot temperatures up to about 95F. After 95-100F, your plant could be at risk of drying up. During winter they need cold weather (below 45F) and can handle temperatures below freezing (low 20s). In short, avoid letting your plant freeze solid or dry up 😉

@@venusflytrapworld thank you 😊 but it’s hot AF in Malaysia throughout the year and I think it’s fine for VFTs ? 😅
