Absolutely love this! We just got knocked out of the All Star tournament. We are going to keep practicing through the summer, this gives me some great ideas for our Sandlot Saturday's. Really appreciate the content coach!

Thanks for the info in your videos and good descriptions. Being a visual person, I would love to see a demo of the games actually being performed.

I'll see if I can do that eventually. I've thought about that before but haven't been able to get a group together that wanted to be on camera. I'm glad the content is helping you!

I’ve watched quite a few of your videos and having no visual change the whole video gets boring. Throw in some clips of your teams doing what you say. Get another coach or dad maybe. They don’t want to be on camera? Let them wear a mask or somerhing

I like to play 2 base at end of practice. Split team in half, flip for home team. Set tee up at home plate. Offensive player hits ball off of tee. Offensive players have to go from Home to First, to Third, and then back to home. Defense tries to get them out along the way. You can shorten a bit by requiring only 2 outs, but they kids get the hang of it pretty quickly. Play 3 innings and losers have to clean up field.

This is a great idea! I like that it incorporates hitting too, sounds like a lot of fun!

I play a version of 21 but a clean play means getting the ball all the way back to the catcher and the players yelling out the out number. 1 error and we start at zero. Definitely more for advanced and older players.

What is spots and how do u play I saw a vid not really explaining much but it looks like everytime u throw to a person in their chest u get a point?

Yupp, if you're referring to the game I'm thinking of, I just call it the target game. If you throw to your partners give and they don't move it, that's 3 points. If you throw to the face or torso area, that's two points. If you're partner has to reach for the ball without moving their feet, that's one point. And if your partner has to move their feet to catch it then that's zero points 👍
