Indigos are larger but how do black rat snakes compare to bullsnake , Texas rat snake , and do they get as thick as ball python , Brazilian rainbow boas or emerald tree boa ? I had balls in past in even tho they a bit shorter then these snake's they can get upto 4500 grams which is bout 10 pds . But most will be around 2500 grams . But balls max is 5-6 ft but they will eat Large and Jumbo's . So do Large colubrids and rat snakes do too ?

Loved this video. I just got a yellow tail cribo and used to have a black tail cribo. For anyone who loves a smart, active snake like a retic but don’t want the size of a retic then a cribo is an excellent option. Also cribos feed drive turns off much faster than a retic. You can feed bare hand and then handle a cribo. They can tell the difference between you and food. Just awesome!!

How about a top 5 (or 10) European snakes? It feels like they're often quite overlooked... And I guess it's understandable when you compare them to the insane snakes found on other continents, but we have some pretty cool ones here too. Eastern Indigo snakes are highly protected in the south eastern united states. Like, if you find one your supposed to immediately contact your nearest wildlife conservation organization to verify and check it. This makes it highly illegal to catch in the wild for pets or breeding purposes. Many organizations are trying to help bring wild populations back up. I'm sure this is why there are very few breeders out there breeding them for pets.

@@germaineparham9372 Yes the Taiwan Beauty is a constrictor... And the rabbits are frozen thawed newborns... I have a supplier who saves them for me and the snake loves them!

I think technically gopher snakes and bull snakes are different sub species. Bull snakes typically don’t extend down into the Sonoran desert, we have Sonoran gophers mainly but I have seen a couple bulls over the years. They get really angry and have teeth.

Bull snakes are a gopher snake just like milk snakes are a king snake :)

But saying gopher snakes and bull snakes are the same snake isn’t correct. Or is variation within subspecies kind of generally glossed over when classifying animals?

Tommy Ohlrich I didn’t say that. I said Bull snakes are a type of gopher snake which is true. Just like how corn snakes and rat snakes aren’t the same but a corn snake is a type of rat snake.

Beauty snakes are so perfectly named. The only one I've met though hated the world and I've heard this is pretty common with them :/
