I work as a bartender at PF Changs and the guests love suntory whiskey and haku vodka .we use the giant ice cube a sugar cube bitters and suntory to make a japanese old fashioned. We also top with hickory water vapor with a flavor blaster and throw a cap on so it smokes when you open amd has a slight hickory flavor. We also fresh press ginger everyday to make our own ginger beer.

Greetings. I've always been like an 'otaku' kind of person, so when i started Bartending i went inmediately to study Japanese Cocktails and Bartending, i've been researching a lot of it and ill write a few Japanese Classics for anyone who want to try them. (Japanese cocktail total Volume is half than the usual Drink, so i added to most Measures; Also recipes change between books and bars, so the recipes are just an aproximation or the average recipe) China Blue (Collins Glass) 45 Ml Lychee Liqueur 45 Ml Grapefruit Juice (pale) ↑Top With Tonic Water 1 Tsp Blue Curaçao Spumoni (Collins Glass) 1 Part Campari 1 Part Grapefruit Juice 1 Part Tonic Water Yukiguni (Cocktail Glass) Salt Rimmed 60 Ml Vodka 15 Ml Cointreau 15 Ml Lime Juice Garnish: 1 Green Marraschino Cherry (Some use Lime Cordial and a little more Cointreau) Gulf Stream (Rocks Glass) 50 Ml Grapefruit (Pale) 30 Ml Peach Liqueur 30 Ml Vodka 10 Ml Pineapple Juice 1 Tsp Blue Curaçao Aoi Sangosho (Coupe Glass) 60 Ml Gin 30 Ml Green Creme de Menthe Garnish: Marraschino Cherry (Adding: 15 Ml Simple Syrup; 15 Ml Lemon Juice and top with Soda in a Collins Glass turns it into a Emerald Cooler) Yokohama (Coupe Glass) 15 Ml Vodka 15 Ml Grenadine 30 Ml Orange Juice 30 Ml Gin 1 Tsp Absinth Bamboo (Cocktail Glass) 60 Ml Sherry 30 Ml Dry Vermouth 1 Dsh Orange Bitters Million Dollars Cocktail (Cocktail Glass) 60 Ml Gin 30 Ml Sweet Vermouth 15 Ml Pineapple Juice 1 Eggwhite 1 Tsp Grenadine Campari Orange (Collins Glass) 30 Ml Campari ↑Top With Orange Juice (Yes, just a Garibaldi, is popular there by this Name) Oolong Cassis (Rocks Glass) 15 Ml Creme de Cassis 150 Ml Oolong Tea Blue Moon (Cocktail Glass) 60 Ml Gin 30 Ml Lime Juice 30 Ml Parfait Amoir Garnish: Marraschino Cherry (The main difference on the Japanese Version is the common use of Parfait Amour instead of Blue Curaçao) Sorry for Bad English, is not my first Language. Sorry for Long Comment. Sorry if writting recipes here is against rules.

An idea I found interesting is to use a genshu sake for the saketini. The reasoning behind this is that, since genshu is best served on the rocks or in crushed ice (mizore), it should work perfectly in a saketini.
