They can be in bioactives! My boy was the worst eater until he got moved to his bioactive setup. I use Carex and Festuca grass, mealworms, Spanish isopods and a couple of morio worms for clean up. Water the grasses directly every 1-2 weeks. Mist under a couple of cork/rock/log pieces for the isopods and water the setup a little extra when the snake is in shed and you're good to go.

One is a more blue with snowflakes, and the other is a blue eyed, so more lavender blue body. My little blue eyed boy recently started croaking. It's adorable and hilarious. Bok bok bork! My favorite on this list is my male anaconda morph Western hognose Aspen. He may technically be venomous, but I have had him over seven years and he has never struck at me much less bitten me. I’m always surprised when uromastyx don’t make these lists. They need larger enclosures (box turtles need more space) and require high temperatures, but their care is so easy. They don’t need a water dish, they don’t need to be misted, their waste doesn’t smell at all and dries up incredibly fast, and you can buy their food when you shop for yourself, eliminating an extra shopping trip.

I nominate Dumerils Ground Boas. Easy to take care of - mine eats only from Feb to July. And is a good eater during those times. Poops less than a dozen times a year - poops are kind of like cat poops (solidish) so are easy to spot clean. No tricky humidity or temperature requirements.

Hey, I have a Green Anole and planning on getting a Leo soon. Can you do a care guide on them. You probably don't have any, but I would love to know more about how to take care of them.

I love these top 5 videos and because of you I am getting my leopard gecko in a couple of months also would you recommend western hognoses as a first snake for a 20 gallon or are there any better options .

I'd for sure say a bigger enclosure for a female. I have a couple Top 5 for 20 gallons videos, check them out
