I have considered a job site radio for some time but can never justify it. If I am working at a house by myself I will sometimes use a Bluetooth speaker tied to my phone, but mostly it’s one AirPod in my ear listening to a podcast or audiobook.

Thanks for the comments! I agree on the decision for a jobsite radio being almost a coin flip. I came from a time when most jobs were new construction and outdoor jobs like siding and roofing so i have always had a jobsite radio, first the dewalt 18v radio charger and nkw the 20v charger radio. My work has changed over the last few years to more remodels and having clients around so the radio has seen little use since other than for charging or on the rare times we are just outside all day. If I didn't have one, I would just do a BT speaker like you at less cost and smaller footprint. (Especially with the trailer and having plenty of chargers too)

No No No! Radio is the first tool out, last tool in. Keeps the peace! lol

Kind of like coffee in the Army. First thing to get started after we pull into site and the last thing to breakdown before we exit! When on new construction or working outside all day or when clients aren't home, the radio does make an appearance! Thanks for commenting James!!!!
