Definately need another special KOTC episode for tasting the Canuck treats! Great off the cuff insights from Jimmy on next year's predictions. Also, Jimmy is the most underrated PB commentator. PPA should be begging him to commentate on the Grandstand feed! Happy holidays guys! 🎉

Riley splitting up with Matt WAS a bad call because he dropped in the ranks without Matt. Just objectively speaking he was a higher ranked men’s doubles player WITH Matt than without. The end of the year rankings prove it. Apart they’re 5th best and together they were 3rd or whatever

Tyler, are you going to be playing any tournaments in 2024 with Ignatowich? I thought you guys had good chemistry at Nationals.

@@MichaelEverhearttI’m pretty sure that’s Julian Arnold. He’s going to do with what he’s going to do. However with all his trash talk antics plus his screaming in Italian(maybe he’s Italian, not sure). Whatever nationality it doesn’t matter what he tells. All I’m saying if he’s not, it’ll add to a the cringy, ridiculous perception that the public has on him already. I’m pretty sure though no matter what people think, he won’t even care

Be remiss to not acknowledge that JW clearly featured more lobbing. And as we saw with Tyler (who also displayed it, specifically the volley lob) it helps a lot. For JW and Dylan, what they are working on must also be pattern recognition and dissecting other teams weaknesses. Maybe less about actually skill development, given how proficient they are. Not to say they aren’t working on stuff, but their skills clearly aren’t an impediment to success.

Great questions - Overall, I would say it's much harder, but there are some instances, where I've seen some pros skyrocket to the top with solid partners, which usually takes quite a bit of time to achieve. For example, Jack Sock was able to land CP for his first year playing pro. Most don't have that luxury. But also, there's much more money in the game now, so that can motivate people more, or allow people to utilize more resources to improve their games.. great question. Merry Christmas!

Jdub and Dillon need a bit more consistency. Sometimes they come in slow or have an off game. Remember the one Sunday and Jdub was having issues with his drops (both in mens and mixed). Which was surprising. Probably no where to go be better with this team. Really like them

Is Jack Sock going to change any of these 2024 Men's predictions? What about in mixed or singles?
@morekingofthecourt

For me... imo, his best chance could be Singles but not sure how much he'll play, then MXD if he plays with CP all year, MD very unlikely if he stays with his current partner as of now, imo.

It’s not wild that Riley and Matt tied. Remember one thing. Riley was always the best player on his team and Matt got carried by his teammates just like Riley was the Alpha player with Matt. Riley’s a much better player overall.

I’m not sure about that. Is Ben the better player, yes. That doesn’t mean Collin is bad. When a team wins that much, both players are good. These teams are too good to not have a bad player.

That's why Ben plays 80%+ of the court. Good luck hitting into that 19% of the court 100% of the time and hoping CJ doesn't do his slide and punch or Erne to kill you.
