Funny that you made this video. An Australian motovlogger by the name of RidingwithTom sold his 2015 BMW S1000RR in place of a 2012 CBR1000RR. His S1000RR was too expensive to crash at the track and bought the Fireblade as it was much cheaper to replace parts (for track use). Just goes to show how good of a bike it really is, despite all the people that talk shit about it.
@CycleCruza

I keep trying to think of a bike to replace it with and can't because this bike has been flawless and such an easy bike to own. It's so smooth, no vibrations, no excessive heat like other super bikes and supersports, easy to change the fairings for completely new look, good fuel efficiency at 40 mpg avg (even pinning the throttle often) and so many other great things about it.

Paul Citti for a bike with no electronics it can still hold its own very well. I have been an owner of the 92 250rr, 06 600r, 09 1000rr and they have all been great bikes next to their competitors

Paul Citti I got interested in motorcycles a few months ago, and by chance I had a chance to snag a brand new 1999 CBR900RR, fully stock and almost no miles, for $500. It was a gift. This bike is so insane for a beginner but I love it. One of my good friends rides Ducati’s and he poo-poo’d my Fireblade, even though my carbureted engine has more horsepower and needs less maintenance than his fuel injected Monster.

I think I'll grab the older 06-07 CBR100RR. It has even more mid range power, than the new one and I'm diggin the looks of the old one. Has a tank cover too. The only disadvantage I see is the untertail exhaust, because of the missing space in the trunk.

Might get a replacement seat for the zx10r, but I'm still getting used to it so I'll see about that. They're more comfortable than most people think. I'm 45, 6'0, and over 270+ with my gear on. I just think they're more fun to ride. The busa is a very smooth running, comfortable bike tho. I will probably be getting another one someday. They're just awesome to cruise on.

Same. All the electronics are great to have but are mostly useful for aggressive riding. I found that I only used the heated grips on cold nights, and the biggest thing I liked about it is the electronic suspension; It's like a gift from the Gods, but because I don't ride a lot at the moment, It felt 'unnecessary'. I’ve got a deal lined up for an eighth gen 1000rr for $4800. It’s a 2006 with 39,000. I’m really not sure if I should commit to it, previously I had a ninja 250 which I sold and I’m wanting to upgrade I’m just not sure what to get

I have 06 cbr600RR and I have tank cover too. I just bought 08 cbr1000RR. Which best helmets and jacket match the yellow and black motorcycles? Most I find it neon yellow. I need bright yellow to match my motorcycles

CC, how often you do your chain service? I do it every 500mi, but was wondering it that too long. I know you said you really on point with your chain service. Thanks, man!

Do you think you could save much weight by using carbon fiber fearings?

For that price I'd actually would purchase a crf1000L. There's something about the Africa Twin that makes me 😍

Cycle cruza, help please. I am considering to buy exactly this 2012-2016 model...a couple of questions if you are so kind. I currently own CBR 600 2009, and I would like a position of handlebars more racing, more lean forward, more agressive...Is this the case with the 1000 ? B) i heard model 2018 10 has really disturbing VIBRATIONS from the engine...but i dont know if the next model overcame that "problem" Are they more disturbing than in the cbr 600?... Thanks again

the only thing holding me back from going straight to the 1k is potential insurance costs :/

+Skyland Pompura if it's your first bike, then good luck. I've seen many new guys crash from too much power that they aren't used too, in addition to the other stupid things new riders do

I am 19 too! How do you have your rate so low??? I'm on a CBR 300 right now and I want to upgrade to the 1k but the guys at the shop said insurance would be out the roof haha. My rate for my 300 was 320 dollars for the year
