1. highest taxes in the nation 2. highest home prices in the nation 3. rampant crime 4. lowest affordability (unless you're in tech) 5. too many people Everything you mentioned is also available in other states. Look at TX, WA, NC, GA, AZ

Don’t fully agree with all of this, but understand where you’re coming from, the Bay Area definitely has some downsides as well- thanks for sharing!

@@LifeSFBayArea You should address everything he listed in a video. Because if you don't your video just seems like gaslighting. Imagine moving to Cali based on your recommendation and then becoming a victim of a horrible crime. You should really shed some light on the rampant Crime. Is it really Still safe to live in SF? As a fellow Taiwanese American myself who was also a youtuber , trying to be vague and gloss over the truth while having skin in the game as a real estate sales guy. you'll come off as a greasy snake. I left California in 2016 for Vegas. and Vegas is booming. their building the 2nd Hollywood here and many Cali chains have moved over, 85C, Daiso, Din Tai Fung. I have an auntie in San Jose, her restaurant has been robbed at gun point twice. its never happened in the 40 years they've been in San Jose. idk about bay area but I know LA. 5 towns alhambra Monterey park, rosemead, temple city, Arcadia is still livable. but there is some homelessness there now. But it used to be 0 in the big 5 Chinese towns. Santa Anita Mall is dead, and many businesses are boarded up. you are young Maybe you're better off moving to a safer place and selling real estate in safer places to people with a clean conscience. You're literally trying to sell a home from the #1 moved out of state in the US. why swim against the current?

@@masonlee5453 Appreciate the feedback and sharing your story - anyway I'm not trying to be intentionally vague/glossy - this video isn't a Pros and Cons of Living in the Bay Area (though I actually made one on this channel as I acknowledge there are downsides) - but rather my personal story on why I decided to continue to live in the Bay Area. Like every area, there are certainly neighborhoods here that are unsafe that I try to avoid as well - but I don't think putting a fear mongering blanket statement saying "Avoid THIS place!" like the media often does is really an accurate picture of what it's really like to live there either... after all these are places where I don't personally live in, and also they are still home to someone... (fyi - you're deeply mistaken if you think everyone is trying to move out of the Bay Area - there are many people desperately bidding to get houses, and inventory is still very low)
