if you need to save money. $1 small hamburger patties at Burger King. a whopping $3 each for a large patty. But 3 small patties filled me up. 1 large patty at Karls JR is just $1.99 each. I just recently tried this. Walmart is up to a whopping $23 for just 12 hamburger patties. and they shrink alot after cooking.

Jenny, Thanks for another great video! 👍As a former 20+ years vegan, and 10+ years vegetarian before that, it is intimidating for me to learn how to cook meat! About 3 years ago, I decided to start adding some animal products back into my diet. But since then, it's been mostly dairy, canned fish, or some type of already prepared meat. Recenty I've gotten pretty good at cooking ground meat, and I've done salmon and mahi mahi a couple times, but I'm scared to try cooking chicken or a steak! I have a Ninja Foodi which is a combo pressure cooker/air fryer, but I've yet to use it. It's just so intimidating, but I need to bite the bullet and just do it! Tomorrow will be week 2 since I started keto! I haven't quite gotten to 20 g carbs or below yet, but today I got down to 52 g. It's a huge learning curve for me, after a life time of high-carb/low fat! But I am highly motivated to get rid of chronic pain and fatigue, so I know I can do this, and I will succeed. A helpful little gadget I picked up for less than $15 is an electric egg cooker. It's made by Dash (the same brand that makes the mini waffle makers), and I just love it! I really like boiled eggs, and they're so nice to have some already cooked in the fridge. The cooker makes 7 eggs at a time, and it's just so convenient! As much as I like boiled eggs, I hate going through the process of boiling the water, and having to time it. So I found I wasn't making boiled eggs very often. But now I'm making them all the time! Is there a way to get your shopping list and meal plan other than Instagram? I don't use that platform.

When you start using your air fryer , you will Love it. I like it because you can take frozen food and make a Wonderful meal in about a half hour . Steaks are excellent. My friend didn't want an air fryer and now he loves it.

@@BeAHappyCamper2Day I really need to just take a deep breath and do it! I get so intimidated by new kitchen appliances, as well as not having experience cooking meat. Thanks for reminding me there is a reward for "facing my fears", I will love it (once I get used to it). 😁👍

Every week for about 2 months already, I've been eating a double baconator from Wendy's without the bun and no condiments. OMG! Such a great meal!!!

I started the full meat, eggs, cheese carnivore diet a week ago I have dropped 10 pounds already. I am eating like crazy, even before this I drank a gallon of water so it isn't water weight, I stopped drinking soda years ago. Is there a good free app to track macros? I would like to get plugged in with a group in my area (MS). I feel freaking amazing. The bloating after eating the old way is gone, the fatigue too, the plaque on my teeth gone, I have soo much energy it like I am plugged into a light socket, I also noticed I am so happy like I just ate a huge piece of cake, all the time.

Jenny, I'm considering buying an air fryer. The Taste Air Fryer looks good, but about 7 months ago you were using an 8 quart air fryer. What was it and which one do you like better?

Hello! I prefer the Tastee because of the temp probe. I thought it might be too small, but after using it I can cook exactly what I was cooking before in the bigger one :)

What is the consensus on diet sodas? I just started and have been doing a little coffee in the morning and water.

Hello! Great question. I dont think its a big deal, especially in the beginning. Once you get a handle on the diet, you can start to think about reducing or eliminating the diet soda. But there are some people that do Carnivore successfully continuing to drink them.

I think it would be best to eliminate them over time. The sweeteners, food dyes, and other ingredients in sodas in general, aren't good for people. The sweeteners in diet sodas are often times worse than the refined sugars they use, which is already really bad for people. Even the cans are bad for you, as they're lined with plastic on the inside to prevent the aluminum from being dissolved by the acidity of the soda, and that plastic ends up in the soda, and then in you. Plastic in the body acts exactly like estrogen, and has numerous ill health effects for men and women. If it's the sweetness you're craving, I can attest with how difficult it is to break the habit. I've eaten tons of candy my entire life, and tried to eliminate it for several years. I think I've finally gotten the hang of it though, and I was only able to do it by just eating more fruit, which satiates the craving for sweet. If it's the bubbly aspect of soda, you can make your own sodas using sparkling water and fruit, which can be really good if you work out recipes you like. Ultimately, it comes down to what you want more, and what disgusts you more. Do you want to be healthy, or do you want to eat the things you're craving. Do you hate being unhealthy and the foods that cause it, or do you hate the willpower and habits it takes to break free of the addictions? It might actually help you to take some classes on addiction, the kinds of classes people in AA (alcoholics anonymous) take, which explains the mental, biological, and brain chemistry aspects of addiction (drugs, alcohol, nicotine, and sugar), how it's so easy to relapse, how we convince ourselves "just this one time", and so on. There are also lots of videos available on the subject you can watch. Food addiction is just as real as any other addiction, and it can be one of the hardest addictions to break, because the bad stuff is sold everywhere, and there's no social stigma assigned to it like drugs, alcohol, and smoking.
