The only issue I have with these ‘traps’ is that the people I play against don’t ever play their pieces in the way that an experienced player would.

The idea is not to memorize the traps but understand the common strategic plan. You can only prepare against the most expected moves anyway.

I think after QE5 you can't save the knight. It is very tempting though. But whenever my king is exposed on diagonals or has backrank issues I always double check any move for an incoming queen check/fork.

Here is a short game I actually played. It points to a weakness in the Bishop’s Opening: 1. e4 e5 2. Bc4 Qh4 3. g3 Qxe4+ 4. Qe2 Qxh1 5. Qxe5+ Kd8 6. Bxf7 Qxg1+ 7. Ke2 Qxc1 8. Qe8#

I thought that too. After Bxf6 black moves pawn h6 to prevent the instant checkmate, than Qg4+ Kh7 - Qg7 #. Black also has Bxf6 Be3 left, than Qg4+ Bg5 - Qxg5 #.

Not a good move. Black moves Be6, blocking the white bishop. Or Block moves Qa5+ and captures the white knight.

There’s a funny line after Nd5 black goes c6 Bg5 then Qa5+ which forces repetition when Bd2 and the queen goes back to d8

Knowing a bit about statistics, by the 4th time you say "Black will usually play this move", from my rough calculations, the probability the game will have gone that way would be 4.56% probability.

trap 1: most people with common sense you use the pawn to defend (g7 pawn) ... and stockfish says its -2 or more for white ... so yeah, low risk = nope, you are giving up your rook for almost nothing

majority of your videos are based on the assumption that opponent wont exchange pawns for pawns or knight for knight or bishop for bishop when opponents use such tactics this tricks become of no use and your presence of mind prevail

My opponent may not be so obliging as to move his knight out of the way. And even if he did, if I moved my Queen to H5 he would move his pawn up and I would be forced to retreat. If I could move my opponents pieces, I could trap him every time!

Then you move your Queen forward to infiltrate the back rank. If he moves his rook, you take a pawn to begin with!

example 1, you make too many assumptions. Black can pin the f pawn by moving queen to h4. There are several moves black can make to stop your development as shown.

Puzzle of the day : No, because black has the option to block with Be6 and you can no longer take with your Knight and have to exchange your strong bishop for their weak one. Secondary answer would be that you would close the position further rather than leave the E file open for your rook for more attacks. That's my honest answer without looking at any
