How are you going to call Dudley out? He shoots PSE now sure but I have never once heard him trash any other bow or tell kids they need to buy PSE to shoot like him. In fact his whole concept with School of nock is to tailor archery to every type of archer.
@RealRadNek
3 жыл бұрын
The reason why Dudley won't talk bad about other bows is that if paid promoters ever part ways with their present company, they will never get another contract. Never talk bad about any other company, at least in public, in fact don't even mention your competition, just hype your own stuff. Dudley, like every other paid or sponsored promoter is doing what he is "paid" to do, sell bows and make money for PSE. Nothing wrong with that! Competition helps us consumers get great products. Thus we all shoot what we want and what we like and we can all have our own opinion. But don't post any bad opinions on your channel if you expect any major sponsorships that you can live off when you talk bad about any company. There is a point where you burn too many bridges.

I would agree to an extent with what you say but there is a place, and a niche I would think, for honest consumers. It helps us make better choices. For example, years back, I bought a cabela's hunting suit made of wool which had some inner liner to make it rain proof. They billed it as super quiet for bow hunters. I bought it and the first time hunting with it, it cost me a deer cause of the crinkly noises made with me trying to reach for my bow and pull back. So I immediately did a review of the product on my channel warning potential buyers that this was not what they are billing it to be and then returned it for a refund. I can guarantee you that this review video would have cost me any potential sponsorship by Cabela's and probably many other potential sponsors had I sought their endorsement of my hunting show. So, I have taken the other route, complete honesty with my experience with the hunting equipment I use. I tell people what I really think, not what a sponsor might require me to say so I can continue to make money. Nothing wrong with Dudley following the modo, "Say nothing bad about anyones product, just ignore it." It is what it is if you want to make a living doing it. On a last note, I do know that the guy who made this video has hit a nerve and made a bunch of money off his opinion here. 160k+ views? He's well into the hundreds of dollars off this monetized video. I know because I make about $100 a month of my channel during hunting season anyway, about $40 when it's not. All the best Christian and have a blessed hunting season!

@@nathan22outdoors8 Dude, listen to yourself. Crying over a review video? Where? I left a comment giving my own personal opinion and you came at me with idiotic accusations. And I never said that all bows are the same. I said that the way some guys obsess over insignificant details to convince themselves to spend way more money than they need to, is ridiculous. And what if I was "too broke" to afford a flagship bow? What difference would it have made? And what if, and stay with me here.. What if I was prepared to spend up to $1200 on a bow, but then after test shooting over 20 different models, which all felt the exact same to me, I decided that spending a bunch of money for no appreciable difference was fucking stupid. So go ahead. Stick to your flagships. I don't care what bow you have or how much you spent on it. Personally, I think it's stupid to spend that much money on something just because its made by "insert name brand here". Lastly, and take this as some friendly advice, don't use "plastic" as a pejorative. This isn't 1975, where everything was made out of cheap polystyrene. Some of the modern plastics we have now are stronger, and better suited to certain applications, than most metals. Oh, and p.s. "then". Not "than". They are two different words with two different uses. They aren't interchangeable.

And your going to say rather than crying you were just giving your opinion? A opinion isn't talking shit on a video about someone testing bows, knowing more about feel, the differences and what to look for in quality than you do. You literally have a video on your channel about an argument in a KZitem comment section, lmao get a life. also saying "Justify paying $1800 for a bow that performs the exact same as a $250 bow. And blame me for pointing it out to you." is precisely saying there is no difference from a low-end and high-end bow. You bought a cheap piece of shit, congrats, you were too brain dead to feel a difference from 2 bows that are night and day difference in vibration, one is most likely way lighter, draws smoother and has another 20% in FPS with 10x more tuning. Stay lying to yourself that you had $1200 ready to spend on a bow because anyone who did, even if they felt the same, would spend the extra money on a bow anyways for reliability. And now your bringing out the history of plastic lmao, its cheap and weak, doesn't matter what kind of plastic, draw that bow in -20 and watch your fragile plastic cam blow up. Is it not common sense to use high quality materials on a high-end bow? or is that another thing you didn't notice between your $250 bow and literally any decent bow on the market? "oh and p.s" this is a comment section not an essay, I couldn't care less about grammar.

@southwest OH outdoors Hi, I got the Bear Kuma LD for Christmas. In your opinion is the status significantly better then the Kuma? Should I try to put it on eBay or something and try to get some money to put on a Status? The Kuma LD has 80% let off and it seems to shoot very nice! I actually thoughts it shot better then the Mathews Vertrix and PSE Evoke. I did my shopping in 2019, hence getting the Kuma for Christmas last year. Should I be kicking myself for not waiting on the Status to come out? Anyways, what is your opinion on the Kuma LD? Bow dealers around here kinda give me that nose up in the air stuck up vibe when I walk in with this bow. Also, I an not sure what some of these guys deals are? I know guys that have been shooting for 20+ years and they have said these newer Bear bows can definitely hang with the competition but at a lower price point. It’s almost like it’s gotten to point that if you didn’t pay 1700 bucks for a bow then it’s no good. Even if the 1700 bow is an over priced piece of shit... “hhhmm... Hoyt.. cough” 😁🤣

Griffin So first I just wanna say thank you for subscribing to the channel. Second, no I don’t think you wasted your money on the Kuma at all. I hunted last year with it and I still shot it for outdoor ASA competition this year. It’s back wall is fantastic and ranks right next to the top competitor no matter who it is. The status with the EKO cam can change let off by rotating the cam modules and draw stops to either 75,80,85, or 90 percent. I would recommend to you that you go to a pro shop that had a status and shoot it And compare it to your Kuma and let that decide whether you should sell it and buy a status. I have personally shot and compared a Mathews vertix, a Hoyt powermax, a pse evo nxt and an elite Kure. I’d put every one of those bows back on the rack for a Kuma or a Status EKO. You save money and you get a quality product worth being excited about. I get the same nose in the air treatment when I pull out my bow at the shop to shoot 3D. They put them down pretty quick and don’t say much when we turn scorecards in at the end though. lol. Stay tuned in though. Any other questions I’ll be sure to respond. @@gear101. I beg to differ. Some of the quietest bows I've ever shot have been Bears, especially their single cams... you know, that long lost forgotten cam system that Mathews pretty much built their company's reputation on? Mathews makes awesome bows, but from marketing and fan boy perspectives, they can go eat an entire bag of dicks. The arrogance they push is nothing short of ignorance... they pretend like they are the only thing on the market worth a damn, and that's just not the case.

I suppose everyone is different I've shot and own new hoyts, elites, bowtech, bears and pse are my favourite bear are probably second the only bows i haven't shot are Mathews and would like to but I hand my pse to anyone at my archery club and they all don't believe my bows is set to 52# until scales come out and then they shoot it and most people say how much was this and these people own hoyts and Mathews. I keep buying pse because they have an awesome feeling draw but I don't think it's worth paying for a nock on version because you get less of a bow for more cash and yeah the bear status eko goes off like a rocket with abit of hand shock, finally got a mathews it's nice the back wall is solid as but the draw in not as clean as my pse.

I think the Bear Arena 30 and Arena 34 were the best bows they ever made in my opinion. Best looking and best shooting. I may be biased because I still shoot a Arena 30 🤣😂 I have a 27.5 draw length and shoot 473gr arrows and the bow is @ 70lb and shoots 272fps...... That's pretty good on speed. It's pretty quiet and is fairly dead in the hand. A little shock but not much. The let down runs away and draw cycle isn't the best. I think this year I will be upgrading but I just can't decide on what it will be......

Yup...that will upset the fanboys..lmao. In fairness, some of this was personal opinion...some was fact. Backwall, vibration etc. are all black and white. It's either there or it isn't. Looks are opinion. Simple fact, if you buy a new PSE and just lust over how amazing it is, and get insulted by someone else comparing it to another company's new bow....ask yourself what you are comparing it too? Your four year old bow you just replaced? Of course you'll love the new one regardless of brand. Are you comparing it to another 2022 bow you own? That's a different story. Compare apples to apples, interject personal opinion, and encourage everyone to make their own decisions. That's exactly what he did, and imo he isn't wrong about 99% of what he said. I don't have a favorite bow...I love all my bows for one reason or another, but I've never found the "best bow ever"...they all have something to be desired.

The PSE Mach 1 required shimming of the cams on all 3 I tuned for my friends. Mathews bows suck too, even though they shoot great. They just require you to spend extra money on their already-way-too-expensive bows on tophats, and buying/making FIVE strings instead of three, plus you have to take the cams off in order to change the cables. This also goes for any bow that has those floating yokes where you can change the cam lean to tune them, and requires you to take the cams off in order to change those floating yokes.

That’s all my bow shop had and I narrowed it down to the pse. We hunt a lot here in Hawaii you can hunt year around and I was looking for the most comfortable bow. And all around this bow just felt better TO ME. Everyone will have different feels to the bows because of their preference. You just have to shoot as much bows as you can before making your decision. I would go based on reviews. Specially one that’s nocking points off of bow based off of looks and how other people hyped them up. To me just feels like a little hating goin on but all good. You've listed the worst bow based on your biases of good and bad so there's no open mind. As if you decided before up recorded the intro which bows pass your test. The best bow is the one each individual can shoot proficiently. It can be an inexpensive, not cheap, or an expensive bow. It also depends on the archers level of experience. I know a man who shoots better photos from his smart phone than some pro photographers with thousands of dollars of camera equipment. It's not the camera, the bow, the rifle or the fishing pole. It's all about the individual and how much he puts into learning about his bow, arrow and other equipment. After that he can be as proficient as an Olympic archer or as sloppy as Bubba after a warm six pack on a hot day. These reviews give little solid info to someone who really wants to learn.

Every bow can be tuned for each and every individual out there the bow doesnt need your opinions. Lets just say a young girl/boy wants to become an archer and see this video they proberly just walk away from the idea. Back up your words with facts and dont run a company down for trying to make a good bow. Just point out the positives and leave at that.
