This is the kind of example of masculinity that young men need to see. Not looking up to guys like Andrew Tate. Aggression is not masculine, wanting to hurt other people is not masculine. A desire to protect others, even if you are risking your own safety is masculine. And feminine! Women show this same quality! I don’t care how big you are, if you try to grab a kid a Mom is gonna ruin your whole day buddy.

Sometimes people just don't have a motive or they do. Maybe that man meant to set another apartment on fire and got the wrong address or he is just racist. Could be he just likes setting things on fire and it was a random place the choose. He doesn't seem to know anyone living there and they didn't seem to know him. Good neighbor shout out! In 2019, I was sleeping in my apartment when I heard banging at my door. The apartment next to me was on fire and despite the smoke, none of my smoke alarms went off. The neighborhood "bad boy" who lived downstairs went out of his way to rouse everyone in our apartment complex and probably saved the lives of many of us. After that night, I got to know him and his mom (who he lived with) and grew to love them as people, as well as neighbors. They are the kindest, most generous people I know! We've since moved away, but I will always be grateful to them! I strive to pay their kindness forward every day.

_Hello, First-Aid-Trainer here 👋🏻._ *Aspiration and what to do:* *1.)* Call for help _(911 or 112 or whatever is the number in your country - 112 is for all Europe, 911 is for the entire world)_ because if you only call when the person suffocated, time is lost. *2.)* When the Heimlich manoeuvre was successful, still call the emergency number or go to a hospital because that manoeuvre can cause serious organ damage, e.g. a ruptured spleen that bleeds a lot. It's possible that you won't feel the internal bleeding, go to bed in the evening and never wake up again. *In case you're alone:* *1.)* Call emergency. You may not be able to talk but they can get your location. *2.)* Get attention. Go outside, seek neighbours help like he did. *3.)* In case you're still alone: do the Heimlich manoeuvre on your own, meaning letting yourself fall onto an edge _(table, chair, etc.)_ so your stomach lands on it. _Maybe even use your mower. When a neighbour sees you, they will either think you're insane or get that something is wrong and help._ *I hope that helps!* 😇

The bad guy asked "why?" because after all, HE was willing to burn a house regardless of who might be in it, and he couldn't believe that anyone would risk his own life to save the lives of people that HE had just put at risk. The WHY is something you will never understand because if you are willing to do this to someone, you will never be able to comprehend someone being willing to undo what you have just done. What a heroic man. I'm glad he was able to latch on to the bad guy and hold him till the cops got there. The man in the blue baseball cap who ran into that inferno to rescue that elderly man is truly a hero. That word seems to be overused but I can't think of any word more appropriate in this case. What an amazing person.

I had to do it one time because my buddy choked on a piece of pork chop that I had made for dinner. At first, I thought he was laughing because his back was turned to me and his shoulders were going up and down. After a bit, I noticed no sound of laughter was coming out and I just clasped my hands together around him and pulled in and up. After a couple of times, I asked him if it was helping and he nodded yes enthusiastically. So I did it a couple more times and the obstruction flew into the sink. My brother watched the whole thing happen and we all were just beside ourselves. I asked him how serious it was, if it was moving at all, and if I hadn't done anything would he have passed out. He said that I literally saved his life. I just thank The Lord that the hindlick manure worked just like you see it in the movies.
