Rides with intentional malfunctions are always favorites of mine. There's a surprising amount of work that goes in to some of these rides to make the malfunctions seem real!

I have been on the Kilimanjaro Safari ride about 15 times and only one time did a driver mention the road closed sign and the danger of the bridge although it didn't shake. One other time a driver did mention it looked unsafe and held together with ropes. I think the long time drivers who were trained with the bridge effect working try to keep it going along with a kind of story line. But most if not all newer drivers seem to have been trained under a totally different script with a different attitude. I don't care for the poaching storyline but the ride itself could use a bit more spice. The one driver that added suspense and anecdotal stories to their narration made the ride much more interesting and enhanced the experience.

I was on Escape from Gringotts when it broke down too. The ride was going fine until all the screens went dark, but the audio kept going. Then, when the audio for the scene we were in stopped, the screens came on and did the scene, but with no audio, and the ride vehicles began to spin in place in slow circles. It was weird. When the ride finally resumed after about ten minutes of spinning and stopping and spinning and stopping, the audio was like 5-10 seconds behind the visuals. But hey, at least we got a free fast pass out of it and got to experience the Spinning Teacups of Gringotts!!!
@neocynical7492
4 жыл бұрын
Brenna W. What happed to me was the ride stopped and the lights turned on and the audio and screens were playing. That meant when the cars spin the show a screen ours didn’t. That was funny because the water effect caught us off guard because we were facing forward and the screen was beside us so the water hit us on our sides. Also during the launch section when you see Voldemort when we were suppose to launch nothing happened. The screen played again and that time we launched. It was a fun and strange experience but luckily we got fast passes and went straight back onto the ride!

I remember when I was ten I went on the Kilimanjaro Safari with my mom. The intentional ride malfunction happened and I was freaking out. I have never gone on that ride since.

I went on the mummy 13 times in a row in Orlando.... And i threw up... Everytime... Until they had to shut the whole ride down to clean and maintain it... It was... An empty day... No one was there. The ride is really something special..... Even if it makes me call earl everytime...

On expedition Everest, I would ride in the single rider line. One time, I was in the car with some first time rider. His girlfriend had ridden it before, but he had. So I took it upon myself to make it the most memorable ride ever. When coming up to the “broken” track, I started screaming and saying things like, “what’s going on”, and “No, no, no, when did that happen?” The dude totally started freaking out, and me and his girlfriend and the person riding next to me were laughing historically. Still one of my favorite Disney world moments!

For me, the bride part for the first one almost fell off. It tilted to the left and I almost dropped something. xD

I remember my first trip to Universal Studios Florida was when I was 9. I was both having fun and being terrified, so when the fake ending came I breathed a brief sigh of relief. Then the glass broke and the fire on the ceiling came in and I realized I’d been bamboozled. Still a fun ride tho, and I’ve made sure to go on it every time I go to Universal

I one time saw a blooper where the Indiana Jones stunt man had done his regular acting in the ball scene, but instead of the ball staying in the place where it’s supposed to be, it actually rolled off the actor and out on to the stage and people could for some reason see it bounce. And that kind of got men thinking, why would it bounce?
