A friend of mine lost a Mido in a private lake. He found it 5 years later, it looked great and functioned perfectly. He lived in a colder climate. The watch would have experienced near freezing temperatures over the winter months.

I really like the Christopher Ward and the Seiko. As an owner of an SBDC063 I would love the 62MAS tribute but the price difference on the used market is huge so I'll probably stick with the MM200. Its so comfortable for a big watch as you will undoubtedly know already.

Just bought the Hydroconquest 41mm black dial and I love it. I love having that brand on my wrist and I love knowing what a cool movement it has inside of it. That Mido in the PVD on the rubber strap looked awfully good…and with a Powermatic 80 inside…what’s a guy to do? Anyway Chris, fun and solid selection.

Nothing at this price point can touch the Tissot Seastar 2000. Its specs-list is most similar to the Omega Planet Ocean 600M. I'm buying it tomorrow and I can't wait! :D You know, watching it a second time, I realised just how bad your overview of the TS2000 is. How do you not mention that it has an automatic helium escape valve like the Rolex Sea-Dweller and that it's also ISO 6425-cerified? You've clearly never even seen it first-hand, That's called "LAME".

How’s the watch holding up?
@AvroBellow
7 ай бұрын
@@thatmemethobro1291 I had to send it back for a defect in the wind mechanism but other than that, it's still as glorious as the day I bought it. I only take it off to shower so it gets worn constantly. It was the amazing buy I expected it to be. My wrist measures at about 7.5" but my wrists aren't round, they're flat, broad and slab-shaped so I need a big watch. At 46mm, this could be too big for many. A friend of mine says that I perform a magic trick when I put it on because it seems to go from being a gigantic watch to a normal-sized one. If you have narrow wrists, this could be too big. I knew it would be perfect for me because I wore an Invicta Grand Diver #3049 for ten years before getting this watch and it's actually larger and heavier at 47mm. It actually sucks to have wrists like mine because most watches are around 40mm and they look like toys on my wrist. That means I can't wear most of the best watches out there as they just look ridiculous on me.

Why does tissot have to put so much writing on their watches? It sooo tacky. I love all of their 700-1000 dollar watches but they just make them look like a G-Shock with all the words slapped on there. Christopher ward is great I just don’t like wearing a guys name on my wrist kinda poor choice for a brand name.
