Nice that you mentioned Testout. I've used them for years and now I just recently passed my Security + exam.

When you can’t ping, first thing first, you need to make sure the computer is on and the Ethernet cable connect to it. A car can’t start, but we start looking into spark plugs, computer modules etc. where an hour later you find out that the tank is empty.

So is this how the technical interview is like? They give you access to computers and ask you to perform tasks? I have an hour long Microsoft teams interview for help desk in 2 days. Just trying to figure out what to expect. Cheers

Just bump it this killing some time at the airport here in Vegas 😆😆😆. You got me cracking when you said "" If you don't know what Ipconfig is then your in the wrong industry my boy"". but saying it basically in a more diplomatic way . Lololol .. Nice vids though. Keep em coming 🤙🤙🏆 also just to add a little reality check for those out there looking to get into help desk or level 1 or similar jobs well ....... This type of jobs are for people in their 20s If you are past 40 I gotta say your gonna be wasting your time... You need to be looking at other fields within the IT industry get your LINUX ADMINISTRATION AND LEARN EVERYTHING ABOUT VIRTUALIZATION AND CLOUD 🌨️!!! you LL have a better shot at those then doing stuff that's typically for younger crowds, or the so called geeksquaders you know what I'm saying!!! .. ok peace ✌️✌️

when you mapped the share is that done on the users pc or on the server with the file?
@Jobskillshare

It is mainly done for users, example ticket: can I get access to M drive? This M drive is usually a part of server share. You as a tech will go to end user and map that share for them. Hope this makes sense thanks Danish
