Thanks Ethan. Ordered one. We have 5km races here (called AquaPaddle, it’s new - like a 5km Parkrun on water!) where I (and hopefully others) can put up with the noise on the grounds of saving energy for the race 🤩

Yeah, it’s definitely more useful for those who need to inflate their boards more often. Glad you liked the video though. 😎

Well done; especially the manually pumping time! I've been testing this pump for the last month or so too. I love it so far (best part is it's a rechargeable battery!) I am going to film a KZitem video to compare a few electric pumps, including this one.

I've considered an electric pump for my dropstitch inflatable kayak (Itiwit x500), but apparently, an electric pump will take 2-3 times longer particularly since my kayak has five chambers to inflate including two structural chambers on the top that only take a few strokes from the manual pump. Doesn't seem worth it. I suppose the manual pump is a good warm-up for an hour of paddling anyway. Even forty minutes to inflate five SUPs seems crazy when five people can inflate them manually in five minutes.

Did you actually pump up 5 SUPS or just reading from the marketing shrill. ? What valves are actually included. ? Boston's ? Leafields ?D7's C7 s etc ?

I currently use two pumps to pump up 1-7 boards. Years ago, I bought 5 used inflatables and a used pump. I didn't have manual that says not to run for more than 20 minutes straight. I destroyed that pump! So I alternate with two different ones. So you say the battery charge will pump up to 5 boards, but at 8 minutes each, that's 40 minutes run time. Is it going to overheat? TIA

Great question and insights. I have not tested this theory out yet. I've used this pump to top off up to 4 boards in one setting, but I only ran it for about 4min on each board to simply bring them up to full pressure. If I were to run the pump continuously for 40min I would probably take breaks between each board to give the pump time to cool down a bit just to be safe. Thanks for the great insights though and I would recommend asking Airbank what they suggest.

Hand pump will win but at the cost of blowing out your arms if you have multiple boards to inflate.

I have a Stermay and inflate my 15 PSI BEAST Sup in 5 min...this looks nice, but inflate from car is 20 min or i understand wrong? Because mine inflates faster...20 min seems to me too long to inflate...

I think it only took 8 minutes to inflate, right?

Nice! Sounds like the Stermay may have some more power to inflate your board faster. 👍 As to your question about the car. I was referring to 20min to charge the battery enough (if it's completely dead) in order to have enough power to inflate your board up. Sorry for the miscommunication. But, what's nice is that you also have the option on this pump to use the built in power cord (separate from the charging cord) to plug it directly into your car and use the car battery instead to power the pump. So, if the battery is dead and you don't want to wait to charge it, you can simply use this built in power cord to power the pump. Hope this helps!
