Natasha didn't have any biological family left, just her fellow Avengers. Clint had a wife and kids outside the other members of the Avengers. Nat dying so Clint could obtain the Soul Stone was heartbreaking, but necessary.

What Natasha forgot for a moment, was that while Clint had a wife and kids that Might be able to be brought back, she was also his family, and he would fight to protect her just as hard as she fought to protect him as her family.

The hardest realizations in this entire act were, first, that one of the Avengers was going to die in order to get the Soul Stone and, second, the knowledge that it was going to be Clint or Nat.

And after all this… Clint wasn’t even IN Infinity War, and then he gets a Disney+ series. She was in both movies, and then got a posthumous prequel movie and a cut of its theatrical revenue… during Covid, so they both got hosed.

When I saw this scene I was thinking, how different would the whole scenario be if the two people who were tasked with getting the soul stone were two heroes who weren't close? Cause Clint and Natasha had history, they actually loved each other, but what if it was like, War Machine and Antman. Or Hulk and Rocket. Would they still get the stone if one of them died? Lol

In a prior scene, when they head off to Vormir to get the stone, Nebula said they just need to not fall out. I read another post that said this was a double meaning. Not to fall out of the ship, but also not to have a falling out with each other. Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to complete the sacrifice.

I’m just curious what cosmic power transported Red Skull from the Space stone to be the harbinger of the soul stone. That actually keeps me up at night. Blue to Orange and *how* red Skull got warped away & the entity that transformed him into a floating ghost who knows everyone’s parentage. Yeah, I get it is fantasy and both Clint & Big T just wake up in a magical lagoon with the stone in their hands.

Everyone who has acquired one of the Stones has done a great deal of the ultimate mission, the revival of dead souls in the universe. But only the stone of the soul was redeemed directly by the blood of the sacrificing man from the beginning. This mission could be obtained by any pair or team, but fate (and the screenwriters) wanted it this way. In the overall context of the story, it was supposed to be the two of them as the weakest of The Avengers (super Ability, super strength, super intelligence). So it is extremely epic that a Russian agent sacrificed herself to save many billions of lives in space. This is the nature of real courageous Russians, sacrificing their lives for all who are loved by them. It is a proven fact of history. Eternal memory and thanks Natasha Romanova alias Black Widow. 🇷🇺✊

Band of Brothers Episode 9 and Episode 7 would give you some good. How do I say it nicely? There are some really good relations to some really bad stuff. I call them my breaking point episodes. I do like to watch one of those after too many of their feel good episodes occasionally. Only because I know the points at which they are going to break and they don't.

17:26 Actually on a technicality they are on Vormir in 2014, at the same time Guardians of the Galaxy was taking place. Infinity War didn't happen until 2018, so at the moment they were fighting to see who would die Clint's Family was alive and well.

It's honestly really sad to see everyone just automatically decide Natasha's life had less worth than Clints because he had a family. I can see the validity in that choice but at the same time it's still pretty sad. I feel no matter who she went with she'd still be the default choice for sacrifice.

I went back at the beginning and look and watch Seb's reaction about he was sobbing at Natasha's death but that's so much heartbreaking but very emotionally ruined but when he swears but I mean Mary Cherry didn't because she was shocked and freaked out. So I guess it was all of Avengers were gonna realise that Clint let Natasha sacrifice herself to give the Soul Stone to Clint. (6:58) & (33:04)

Jeremy renner is a terrible actor sorry but he's so cheezy. I liked Nat but who cries over a fake comic book character & a fake film. Hilariously how some people really cry as though they just loss an actual family member. I've lost many friends & family members when I was younger including my parents before I was out of junior high & yet never cried. Death is part of life. First time I saw this in the theater i wasn't the only one going oh come on just end it.
